Amazing experience from start to end. My boyfriend took me today and it was so great! Everything was SO NICE and CLEAN! You can tell they really take care of their business. The wait time wasn’t long. I got some sort of juice, it was amazing! Me and my boyfriend both got salmon cabbage rice, everything was delicious! Will be returning!

Great service from the moment you sit down till the moment you leave. Menu had a great variety! I got a little nervous ordering the jerk chicken because it was listed as very hot. I love spicy food but I know jerk chicken can be really spicy, so I just had to go for it. Turns out it really wasn’t bad at all. It was more flavorful than spicy to me. The spiciness of the jerk chicken to me was minimal. I was very happy with my choice because the flavor of the chicken was just so so so good! I do wish it was a little spicier, but the flavor made up for it. The plantains were perfect, overall I had a wonderful experience and will be back! Also, the seats and tables are just beautiful!

Enjoyed my Father’s Day dinner here. The vegetable spring rolls and Gambian meat pies were great and an awesome start to our meal. The Jollof Salmon was good overall, the salmon was good but could have been seasoned better. However, the rice and cabbage were outstanding!!!! Spicy but flavorful and hot and fresh. The decor was lovely but the music was too loud that it was hard for our table to hear one another. But I’ll definitely be back if only for the rice and cabbage. My wife had the jerk chicken and felt though the chicken was tender and juicy, it lacked seasoning.

If you haven’t been here yet…..run!!! The food is amazing. Best oxtails in the area, and I’ve been to almost every place that serves them in the Metro area. And the meat pies…OMG! Sooo good. My husband had the kabob platter and he LOVED it. This is the first restaurant to get him to eat bell peppers. Lol I had a special request for a cocktail and the server was more than accommodating (get the Sambou punch, no tequila, add bourbon …thank me later!) We can’t wait to go back and try new dishes!

This place was amazing..!! I can tell they were busy tonight but even while busy the food and drinks came out fast. The server was great.! He was very professional and very knowledgeable of the menu. He must have been a manger for sure. He was working very hard to make this experience great. This place offers not just great food but the overall experience everytime is great. Highly recommend over that other place in town.

I always order to go so I can not comment on the service if you dine in, but my order is always ready, hot, and delicious! I order oxtails and extra plantains everytime. I am so happy to have this restaurant in the Jackson area!

My sister and I had dinner here tonight and I must say it was spectacular. Our server greeted us at the door with a smile & he was attentive during the entire visit. We chose the meat pies for an appetizer, the Wonjo for our beverage & the Ox Tail meals for our entrees. Every single component of our meal was amazing. The atmosphere was lovely also. We were planning our next visit before we even received our first dish. 10 out of 10 would recommend. ☺️

The food was very good and flavorful. The waiter was nice, even bringing us samples of dishes we wanted to try. I will say the only negative was the bathroom was not wheelchair accessible whatsoever. The toilet is up 2 steps.

It wasn’t fresh, but the food was good. We went for the buffet to try different items. But.. the ticket was $52 for 2 buffets on a Thursday evening. Quite the shock when its advertised as $19.99 on weekdays and $22.99 on weekends. So I’m left to think we may have been overcharged. However the place was literally empty(so many people missing out on delicious food!) so I’m gonna consider it a donation. I would recommend giving the food a try.

Very nice spot! The food was really interesting and good! For appetizers, meat pies were 10/10!!! The chicken meatballs were ok, but some may enjoy them! For entrees fufu with the okra soup, fufu actually doesn’t taste like anything the soup gives it the flavor, it was good! The jerk chicken, oxtails, with rice and beans, cabbage and sweet plantains were the highlight! The plantains were terrific!!! We had a juice and i forgot what it was called but it was the one without ginger and it was so delicious!!!
