Right next to the river and we had short Amazing time at this place. The food was good. Watch out for Pigeons if you are dining out

I’m not surprised that this place does not pop up on Google maps when you search for burgers. The hot dog was possibly the worst hot dog I ever had in Chicago and it was $12. hamburger was not so much better. I guess you are paying a premium for it being in a hotel, giving it two stars because it’s along side the river with nice views and people watching.

This burger place is conveniently located-in the Grand Sheraton Chicago on the bottom level by the riverwalk. Though recommended by the hotel staff, the food is just an overpriced burger with fries and overpriced cocktails. You can definitely go downtown and find a far better burger for less. Don’t waste your money. I didn’t even finish my lunch.

The location is very nice, right across from the river cruises and one of the last food spots on the river walk before hitting the end. All of the spots along the river walk are tourist traps anyway, the prices are at least 10-15% higher than everything west of Michigan Ave. $9.00 for a hot dog and $19 for a burger, $8 domestic and $9.00 import (all cans). We didn’t try the burgers here but they should be ok. Or you can always choose the $14 salad option.

Should have listened to the other reviewers. It was close to the boat tour and along the river so gave it a try. My son couldn’t get a shake, they were out. Ordered two sodas instead. Ice only worked in one of two soda machines and no Pepsi in either. It was absolutely filthy. Okay, go sit down to wait for food. 29 minutes from time we ordered to the food coming out. My burger was VERY rare, kinda raw and cold and also super greasy. I like a good medium rare burger but this was cold. Bun soaked through. It was just gross. Fries were okay but for what we paid and not having a decent drink or a burger that was edible, it was awful. Definitely cannot recommend.

I enjoyed the CBC Smash burger and it was excellent. Service and atmosphere were also excellent.

Burgers are pretty good and juicy, if a little overcooked. The green Chile burger was really tasty, but the Chile had no heat. (Keep in mind I live in NM, and am used to REAL green Chile.) I tried 2 beef and 1 turkey burgers this week while staying at the Sheraton, all were slightly overcooked but still juicy and flavorful. Their aioli is really good.

The thinnest burger I’ve ever seen. A lot of businesses are blaming the pandemic of Covid-19 for the downfall of product quality and the rise of price. This restaurant takes the cake. The 1/4 pound burger is 1/4 the height of the bun. Definitely NOT a quarter pound not even before cooking. The Pepsi has so much water in it it’s flat. I asked for light ice so I got 1/2 cup of ice. The only parts that did not lack quality was the fries and the lettuce, pickle, mayo and mustard that they drowned the sandwich in. You get a lot of it. If you have to be this skimpy just go ahead and close.

This place is awful. The food is terrible and the bill is the most expensive I have paid in Chicago. Please don’t get tramp by the views and the location in the river walk.
