Stopped in Sal’s Pizza on Wyoming Ave the other day and tried out their pepperoni pizza for the first time. I had never been there before but have passed the place a few hundred times before. Called them up ordered the pizza and they had it ready for me within 20 minutes hot & fresh. Went in to pick it up and the nice employee there treated me like I was a regular which was a nice gesture thank you. I told him it’s my first time there and if the pepperoni pizza is good I will post a nice review. Ate a piece of the pizza and immediately you could taste the sweet fresh crust, the tomatoes in the sauce, then the nice mozzarella cheese after that. It was a great change from the pizza I normally eat around the area. I will say the crust was sweeter than normal but tasted great one of my favorite crusts I’ve had on a pizza. The sauce definitely needed a little more spice to it was a bit bland for me, but you could taste the fresh tomatoes in it. The cheese was on point very tasty indeed I will definitely try some other pizzas of theirs. Finally the pepperoni was delicious definitely made the pizza I bought because the sauce lacked a bit of flavor. Thank you Sal’s I will definitely be back to try some of your other food.

Treated like family when you walk through the door, amazing food and a amazingly polite staff. Amazing prices for the amount of food you receive. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing food, freshest dishes, we get their pizza weekly! Sal and his family make you feel like your part of theirs. This restaurant is a valley TREASURE.

Great food and service. You can’t go wrong. A very welcoming family atmosphere . Sal was so nice to my granddaughter that he even served her order personally and cut it up for her. She fell so special, it made her night. We love Sal’s, great people.

One major issue, this is a CASH ONLY restaurant. They have an ATM there that’ll charge you 2.50 to use it. It’s almost 2020 and even food trucks are accepting credit. I felt that there should be more notice for patrons so they have a heads up, but then again that’s up to management.

Food was great. The fresh right out of the oven bread, hoagie rolls and pizza crust was so good, went on a carb binge. Chili was perfect. Huge portions on the hoagies. The atmosphere was laid and very comfortable. Service and staff fast and friendly was like eating at a good friends house.

I have been going to Sals since my mother used to take me school shopping at the Bon Ton in the 90s. You could say it’s on the small side, but I’ve never had an issue with feeling cramped. The food is top notch and the staff is great. Plenty of beer to choose from. I’m a huge fan of the Al Finarell pasta dish.
