We ordered 3 fish and fries and a chicken dinner. The waitress told our fish dinners were ready, they were waiting on the chicken. When we got our meals, the fish and fries were Luke warm, like they sat under a heat lamp waiting for the chicken to get done. They should have waited to fix ours until the chicken was almost done!!! Then, they added a surcharge for using a card instead of cash. We aren’t regulars to the Tavern, so we wouldn’t know this was their policy. We should have been told that was their policy when she picked up the cards.

It was my first time at this establishment. Went there with my in-laws, it was a party of 8. We had a very friendly and attentive server. I had fried cod but some members of my party had a chicken dish with chopped vegetables, which they admitted was very delicious. I will try it next year when I’m in Ohio again.

First time here Saturday 5-21-22. Watched the Hubie Ashcraft Band. Great little place out in the middle of the country. They also have a really cool grain bin out back they converted into a bar. Friendly staff, and the drinks were great. Although I didn’t have any, they also serve food.
