Had a wonderful time at dinner tonight. Really friendly service. Lovely setting and decorations. We had the crimini mushroom dish and duck fat fries for appetizers, which were amazing. We had oysters with the most delicious strawberry compote, and steak for mains. Both perfectly presented and delicious. Finished up with the stoat chocolate cake and a cheesecake to die for. Definitely recommend & we will be back.

What a wonderful place! We stumbled upon Rue Cler while looking for a lunch option, and had an exceptional experience. Everything we ordered (drinks and cocktails) was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and the service could not have been better. Really glad we found this place, and we will certainly come back!

I had a wonderful experience here. My service was excellent and very personal and kind. The woman that owns this establishment also cooked my food and we chatted. Very elegant atmosphere. Food was top notch and the staff really made the whole dining experience warm and inviting to the point I can’t wait to try their brunch and dinner menu. I had the mushroom small plate to start and the pork chop special. It was absolutely delicious. I’m excited for the market place to open so I have yet another reason to return.

The salmon cakes were undercooked and made my partner sick later on. Too pricey. Food took too long. Awkward service. The drinks were good though. Why two servers to a table? Person refilling water/taking additional order/commenting on our food was the chef? The sliced apple in our salad still had the sticker left on. No apology. Oof

Kicking ourselves for not coming in sooner. This place has fabulous ambience and friendly staff. Everything we ordered was delicious. The tuna was perfect on the Nicoise (and the potatoes amazing-sliced and roasted, not mayonnaise like I saw in another review). And the curried mussels were superb as were the salmon cakes. Thank you for a lovely meal!

The owner was outside drumming up business like a used car salesman. We fell for the hype, sat down amongst the eclectic pieces of furniture, and listened to some of the many tales the owner had to tell. This place is definitely a work in progress and we took in the unique decor while our lunch was being prepared. The meal was nicely plated and the food was ok. Go for the experience if not the food.

Popped in for lunch on a Saturday, randomly, while antiquing. Went in blind and with no expectations, and we were blown away!
