Awesome food and awesome service. I’m from Maryland and their breakfast menu has many more options than I’m use to. Pretty inside. Clean & friendly. Highly recommend .

Gary’s has that undeniable charm that comes with a Ma and Pa style restaurant that is backed by passion and history. At first glance it is an unassuming place, then inside is a juxtaposition of different designs from over the years which adds to that charm. The service is fast, attentive, and personable. But the food, well the food is the most important piece of it all. I have tried quite a bit of the menu in recent times, and it has never failed to disappoint. The hot sausage omelet though is the breakout star and absolutely worth a try. The praline pancakes exude flavor and southern charm as well. I’m sure Covid has not been kind to Gary’s, but I implore you to keep showing them kindness and keep ordering some take out!

I love all the waitresses there. They have a great memory and always remember exactly what I get even if I haven’t been there for a few months. The food is always delicious. Especially the pancakes. Thick and fluffy w a crispy edge that r the size of a dinner plate. My favorite little dive.

Great breakfast and friendly people. I love Gary’s, it’s a small hideaway on Brownsville road that you could drive right past and not even know it. But they have some of the best breakfasts I have ever had with generous portions as well. Any who goes to Gary’s will walk away full and happy

Great family atmosphere with a friendly staff. I like to go here on the weekdays for the Breakfast Special I usually choose Eggs (over medium), Mancinis toast, Homefries, Sausage, & coffee(free refills). So good. They might just have the best breakfast in Pittsburgh

A hidden gem of a breakfast diner – their omelets with hash browns and Italian toast are great and really cheap. Cozy little place for local families – I’ve never had to wait for a table and service is quick. Wasn’t that impressed with their French toast or bacon, though. Meals tend to be a little better on Saturdays than Sundays for some reason. Only open till 2pm.

The food is delicious; almost reminds me of a home-cooked breakfast or lunch. Prices are not bad at all, and the waitresses are very nice and work their butts off. Even when it is busy, the wait is still short. The restaurant is family orientated, and a cozy place to be at. Sundays are busier, but they always have special omelets & french toast/waffles/pancakes every Sunday. One special that became popular & and is now there every Sunday is the Pittsburgh Style Omelet, it’s a hot sausage omelet with a few other items. Never hurts to try new places out 🙂
