Totally solid old time restaurant! The seafood is fresh and the service is great! I ordered the prime rib and lobster tail and everything was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Recommend Rudy’s!

I have heard of this place but never been here. It’s on the old US 50 parallel to the new highway 50. Easy access. I sat and had lunch at the bar at 2:00. It was quiet but the food was great and came out very quick. Nice clean place. I would recommend it. The staff were very nice including the bartender was overly sweet.

Rudy’s has been an important part of Sacramento for decades. I would say that you haven’t really experienced Sacramento without going to Rudy’s at least once. The atmosphere is warm with beautiful and unique artwork. The service is great. But most importantly the food is amazing. If you are looking for a top notch meal to entertain clients, or an important celebration, this is the place.

I have been coming here for years. I love the fact that you can pick your lobster. I’m a huge fan of lobster and filet. Their filet is always cooked to perfection as is the lobster. They are known for their prime rib and lobster. I prefer filet but the prime rib is amazing.

I had an issue with a captains cut prime rib that my husband got for take out. It was my father in laws bday and I ordered the prime rib well done. It came pink and after calling several times I got the rudest of rude General Manager Christina. She was not the least empathetic and never apologized only explained how the meat was cooked. WE WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS PLACE AGAIN! Her attitude and demeanor explained why the other mangers under her behaved they way they did when I spoke to them. Customer Service is non existent she even hung up in my face while I was explaining what I wanted the resolution to be. I asked her if she could follow up with either an electronic refund will be submitted or a check by mail. She refused saying you don’t tell me what to do as if I was asking her to move a mountain and hung up. Very indignant and apparently doesn’t take customer feed back well. ORDER TAKE OUT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! If this place was corporate ran it wouldn’t last long!

Great server: Jim S., and everyone from hostess, seater, bartenders and bussers everyone was friendly, professional and attentive; especially Jim he timed the arrival of our food just right it came out hot and we didn’t feel “rushed” between courses.
