Wonderful casual dining inside a neat historic building. Great ambiance, right on the river. Nice view. Covered patio dining. Food was delicious, drinks were tasty. Highly recommended!

The service was very good, the view of the creek is awesome. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. Thee wait staff was knowledgeable & helpful with questions about about allergy substitutions available on items of concern to me. The green beans are some of the best I’ve had. I wouldn’t order the mashed potatoes again though.

This place was awesome! I loved the atmosphere, the staff was extremely nice, & the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend the fried pickles & the birria brisket tacos!!! Only thing is that the food takes insanely long to get to you. We waited about 30-40 minutes for our food to show up.

Great dining experience in downtown Belton. We had the Chicken Fried Steak with Sweet Potato Fries and the Sweet Jalapeño Chicken. The CFS was nicely breaded and flavorful. The Sweet Jalapeño Chicken was a nicely sized chicken breast on top of a bed of mashed potatoes with a sweet Jalapeño sauce. Very good! We enjoyed both our meals and will order them again. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We will be back. Highly recommend.

Nice area to visit in downtown with shops and a creek u can swim in. You will find something u like at the Gin. The bread pudding is made with Shipley donuts.

The food was not worth $100 bill. Sampler was okay, my blackened salmon was good, but the ribeye had no flavor and the mushrooms and onions were so greasy. The French fries were the best thing about the whole meal. Service was decent but it took a long time for food to come out when no one was there. Don’t look up, huge layer of dust on the fans and massive cobwebs all over the upper window. It’s such a cute venue, I wish this had been better

We met friends for lunch & enjoyed sitting outside, the service & the food was Great! I had the Avocado Steak Salad.. Perfection! I highly recommend checking The Gin out. Great location too.
