The last inexpensive breakfast place in North County. It used to be a bank, then turned restaurant, hence the name.

I was very hungry so I looked up local hamburger spot and found this place. Long drive-through and long line inside so I was thinking it’s a legitimately good spot. Spoke to the guy behind me he suggested the hamburgers and mushrooms. Not quite impressed with the quality the meat patties are thin and dry, the bun was crispy on the bottom, the mushrooms were decent but as the guy behind me said prepared for it to be salty. The strawberry shake was more like a icy slush not much milk if any. Overall not great but it’s San Marcos so maybe it makes sense there.

Came around 2pm on a Sunday and the place were full of diners. We ordered the two bacon avocado cheeseburger and a side of fries. Our food came out quite fast, and the workers bring it to the table for you if you’re dine in.

I enjoyed the best turkey melt I’ve ever had from the Money Pit. I used the drive-thru as well; service was fast and friendly! Reasonable prices too…I will definitely go back!
