From start to finish. It was a rainy Friday night. Didn’t expect a coat check for my umbrella. nice. For starters my waitress Ebonee was fabulous . Her suggestions were spot on. She was very professional. Started with an old fashioned and a salad with chick peas. For my dinner l had the tortellini with mushrooms hold the meat. Washed my splendid meal down with an espresso martini. Ebonee again was a gracious hostess. I’ve already spreaded the word on social media and l shall be returning soon. Great job and thanks for choosing northwest Indiana as your newest location.

The owners of Rosebud are bold. They put a five star steak restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Very beautiful and elegant.. The place looked like it belonged in the bustling part of downtown chicago.. But it’s in a strip mall.. this is a anomaly.. The food was excellent, the decor was sexy.. the American songbook playing throughout the sound system was spot on.. The staff was great.. I noticed they had someone with a lint roller making sure the booths were in top notch condition.. It’s the little things like this that make a restaurant stand out.. not to mention my server… a absolute rock star… I’ll be back thanks for your hospitality

Absolutely amazing! We picked Rosebud to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and they did not disappoint. The filet and bone-in ribeye were excellent…the homemade vinaigrette on the salad was very good too. It’s Chicago steakhouse style in NW Indiana.

We arrive at Rosebud roughly 15 minutes before our reservation. The parking is terrible. It is very difficult to find a place to park. We were seated immediately which I loved. The place is nice but I do wish the ambiance was a bit cozier. The bread was delicious and buttery with a little crunch. I was a bit disappointed that there’s no sweet red wines on the menu at all. I can’t remember our server’s name but he wasn’t very attentive and had very little knowledge about the menu. He didn’t have a good understanding of the different types of steak and the difference in flavors between dry and wet aging. He also didn’t check on us as often as he should have. I ordered the Rosebud original cut Ribeye medium well and my husband ordered the same well done. We also ordered the baked Mac & cheese, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. My steak had no sear on it and really was more medium rare-medium than medium well but I didn’t send it back. The flavor was good. My husband’s well done steak had a beautiful sear on it and was more medium well. The sautéed asparagus was ok but really lacked seasoning. The baked Mac & cheese was ok but was shells and cheese not macaroni which was disappointing. I was enjoyed the mashed potatoes. Overall it was an ok restaurant but not nearly the experience I was expecting or desired for that price point. My husband and I frequently dine in Chicago and I was really expecting Chicago’s top notch service and food quality and Rosebud missed the mark for me.

Wow! It is so amazing to have a Chicago steakhouse close to home with amazing food and service! We celebrated my parents’ 51st anniversary with Douglas and he was awesome! We recently went to a Chicago steakhouse and were super disappointed with the food. Everything we had tonight was amazing! Steamed mussels, pot stickers, porterhouses and filets. We could go on and on. Superb food and service!

If you are reading this, this is your sign to make your reservation NOW! I brought my husband here for his birthday celebration. The quality of the service, drinks and food were incredibly great. Our waitress Samantha was very courteous and helpful as she knew the answer to all of our questions. I ordered the salmon piccata and it was extremely delicious as the herbs and veggies brought so much flavor to the dish. It’s definitely the best one I’ve had hands down. My husband had the 28 day wet aged bone-in 16 oz filet and said it was good. We shared the “crack” (it’s addicting and everyone around us said they come just for the brussel sprouts) brussels sprouts and baked macaroni and cheese.

I have been waiting to review Rosebud Steakhouse in Munster since it opened in October of 2022. I am saying it right now….No more trips to Chicago for Rosebud folks, go to Munster Indiana instead trust me! The atmosphere doesnt disappoint and the serving staff is the main reason for my review! Friendly and super knowledgable for everything on the menu! Our server Nick went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Over the years I have entertained clients at Rosebud but this dinner was special for my wife and I. Our server Nick and his staff showed true professionalism for our entire meal. Great conversation and Nick’s recommedations were exactly what we were looking for. To start we had a French Martini for my wife and I had glass of the chardonnay. Listen up people! Take advantage of the appetizers! Shrimp cocktail was super fresh with wonderful presentation. We also had a wedge salad that was just perfect! For the main course we decided to share a Del Monico steak. Our servers recommendation for the brussels sprouts just made our day, thats right brussel sprouts! I specifically saved room for dessert. My friends have been head over heels for the desserts at Rosebud. The butter cake that Nick suggested was beyond delicious. My wife had the carrot cake, fantastic! All in all, I really recommend Rosebud in Munster because they treat you like family. The staff was just so friendly and full of great conversation! Thanks again Nick for making a special night a bit more special for my wife and I. We will be coming back very soon with family. Great experience!
