Nice place that we found by looking online. We stopped in for a light lunch and found exactly what we were looking for in a pleasant space.
I would call their cuisine eclectic as we had tomato soup with grilled cheese; a zucchini and goat cheese quiche; and a tofu peanut and quinoa bowl!
After ordering at the counter we sat at a table and they brought us the food. We enjoyed all the dishes and the quantities were just enough to satisfy.
Space is open, airy, and offers a variety of artsy items for sale.

Had a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner here (late lunch). The hummus spread was fresh and delicious and my BLT was amazing! The focaccia bread paired so well with the rest of the ingredients.

We usually stop in for breakfast which is always good! Tonight we decided to try out their dinner. Nice menu of items and really something for everyone. We started with a great bottle of wine, I had the spicy chicken sandwich with potatoes and my husband enjoyed one of the seasonal salads on special. For dinner you sit and they have wait staff attend to the tables, which is so nice. The little table lamps and soft jazzy music really alters the feel of the restaurant for dinner. It was quiet and we had a lovely dinner. Highly recommend you put this on your list.

Stopped in for breakfast.I had huevos ranchers, it was good. Served with a tortilla and a deconstructed style. Hubby had build your own breakfast, 2 eggs, potatoes and side salad. His lacked flavor but was good. You order then seat yourself. It was a cute spot and friendly. My 100% disappointment was turning the corner to get our drinks and theres a huge long haired shaggy dog! (And it wasn’t a service dog).
I don’t understand why this is allowed, the patio is one thing, still do t get it. But inside, not a fan at all. Some people have anxiety around dogs and it’s a dog! Not sure based on that , that we would return or truly recommend. I still gave it a good review because the food was okay.

We stopped here for lunch during a wedding anniversary staycation. Exceptional service (even when something went wrong in the kitchen!) and high quality, locally-sourced ingredients.
I question the use of blue-cheese in an heirloom tomato salad (I like unique visions but that’s a WILD flavor profile as opposed to goat cheese or mozzarella!) but everything was executed well.
Will definitely return when in the area!

Edited 1/6/2026: Wow- not only were you rude to us in person, but then you reply to my review by gaslighting us and trying to say you don’t have short rib on the menu to try and discredit our valid complaint…. Too bad for you, I got receipts right here if you wanna play that game.
Also to anyone reading this review, please don’t support a business where the owner writes rude replies to reviews and then eventually deletes them… Again- this establishment has an entitlement problem where they would rather belittle unhappy customers instead of resolving their cold coffee and subpar food issues. Bet you thought you were gonna have the last word on this one. ♀️
Everything here was just kind of meh and one of their employees was really rude to us 🙁 I was expecting more for the price you pay, but portions were on the smaller side. Flavor was lacking and short rib was tough. There was an adult man working in between the kitchen and the front counter who was rude and unfriendly to his teenage coworkers in front of us which made us feel uncomfortable… when the coffee from the carafe wasn’t hot, I asked if there was anyway they were able to warm up my coffee or make a new batch and the same man overheard my conversation that I was having with another employee, and immediately came from the back of the kitchen, interrupted and said yeah we can’t do that- and then stormed off. Super unprofessional and disappointed in this place 🙁

We tried this restaurant for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. The place is very cozy and a cute terrace if you want to enjoy the weather. The food was great, simple and very well executed. My son love the tomato soup and grilled cheese, which I can tell you doesn’t happen much! It wasn’t crowded on a Friday night as well, which I enjoyed.
I would like the chairs to have cushions though so all of our body parts could enjoy the stay:D otherwise I hope this place keeps up the great quality of food and service.

We are new residents of Powell and have to say-the food here is amazing! My husband had the Pulled Pork sandwich and I had the Turkey Club. As I had visited previously with a friend, I knew we needed to add salads to be filled. So, two sandwiches, 2 soda’s (loved the Dr. Browns Black Cherry!) and two side salads, with tip it was $60. I consider that very high for lunch. Sandwiches are about $16-$17 each.

We went for dinner… And it was ok. It definitely seems like it would be MUCH better for breakfast or lunch. The dinner food was fine, but it didn’t blow me away. I would definitely come back for a different meal, but probably not dinner.

We used the Locust Table to cater breakfast sandwiches/ burritos for my daughter’s birthday party at the nearby Little Town. The food was delicious and we got several compliments on the sandwiches and people asking where they were from because they were so good! Karla was very helpful in placing my order too!
