My family and I stopped here on our way back home to Florida. The associate who took our order was very friendly and informative. I showed him pictures of items I saw on TikTok served by the Rookies restaurant and he was able to point out the items I wanted from the menu. I got a Quesabirria Pizza, Quesa Tacos with rice and refried beans, Chicken Quesadilla, Queso dip and chips as well as the Loaded Taquitos, and horchata. The first thing I tried was the horchata and I loved it! It was smooth, sweet but not too sweet and it reminded me of a comfort food I make at home. I ended up buying 3 more cups! The food was very delicious and the presentation was on point as well. The only thing I didn’t like was the refried beans. I mean it had a nice presentation in a little tortilla cup but it was tasteless with an unpleasant texture. Other than that, everything was great! The bathrooms were clean as well. My family and I enjoyed this restaurant. Thank you for a great experience!

This is the worse experience I had in a long time order online ahead at 3:45 two plates asada fries and flaming burrito it told me my order was going to be ready at 4:14 so I arrived to pick it up at 4:20 to give it an extra time I arrived and they told me I had to wait 5 minutes more so I seat down those 5 minutes turn into 15 minutes meanwhile I saw very bad employee lenguaje and behavior vaping while packing the food eating with their hand and not washing them before handling food, the place was not busy at all two online orders prep and 2 customers at the restaurant and it took 45 minutes to prepare two plates not only that when I open my burrito the only thing I have mainly is one pound of rice, some hot Cheetos and a couple of pieces of meet that’s all not at least some cheese, sour cream or anything else just rice and the price almost $20 definitely not worth it at all.

Great Local Business! Quick ordering process & nice atmosphere to eat in as well. The food arrived perfect & was very flavorful. I suggest you try their Birria Beef Tacos they are amazing. This was one of the best Tacos I’ve had in a while A1. Make sure to check out their Yadkin Rd location today!

Food was amazing. It hard to find authentic Mexican food, even though Tex-Mex places say authentic Mexican. Birria tacos were on point.

They counted the heck out if the meat for my tacos. Barely anything as you see.

It takes a lot for me write a negative review. But just had some of the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. My husband and I ordered several different items as carryout. The Nachos Locos was covered with rotten lettuce as was the guacamole that was served on the side. The beans and rice were so dry I feel they had been sitting out for days. The tamales were terrible, dried out, and flavorless.

Lived in CA. I know good Mexican food. This is definitely one of the best taco/Mexican places in town. Only complaint, which is somewhat minor, is they had no forks when I went. Definitely challenging to eat a burrito without a fork lol.

The food is delicious. The only problem is the location. It’s very small, and there is an odd odor that I’ve heard was present when the previous restaurant was there. Their health inspection is fine, so there is no negative effect on the cleanliness or on the food. Just use the walk-up window! The California burrito is as big as an adult head. I’ve had their asada fries on a past visit, and they were amazing. My FAVORITE is the quesotacos which are those famous birria dip tacos. So good!

Trying this place for a second time now that they are not just in a food truck. A bit disappointed, the menu has an amazing selection. But the flavor is just not there, carnitas were dry, tortas are too soggy, birria tacos but you need to order the consome as a side!?!??! Also beans taste like they are from a can. This menu would be amazing if they did some things differently.
