We ordered sushi as an appetizer but it was definitely the star of the meal. We had two rolls the Vegas roll with smoked salmon was delicious and the “beet me to the punch” vegetarian roll was special. I can’t wait to try more.

I have had these sushi rolls several times now as an appetizer, as light supper, and a take out contribution to a group meal(They were Each time I was instantly delighted by the presentation of the order and then thrilled by the flavors and textures of the rolls. It is an underrated and underappreciated vegetable. A dark and vivid root jewel that hides in the soil like a rare secret treasure sought by dwarves and worn by green eyed sorceresses in high windswept castles. It is both dark and bright at the same time, stains the fingers a deep red and is reminiscent, we must admit of blood. We speak of course of the humble Beet.
