Hubby and I came here in a date night! We tried another steakhouse recently in Columbia and were barely impressed.
We will come back here more often for sure!! The manager even came by to say hi and make sure everything was good. The older guy behind us was being crabby and she was so kind to him.
This place was great, the food was perfectly seasoned and served hot. We both ordered Filets and a side.

Quaint atmosphere with great service. Loved the views! There’s also a huge cozy fireplace and inviting staff. The food was superb and appropriately priced. Lots of fun cocktails. Loved it and will definitely be back!

This food is amazing! Crab cakes were delicious… perfect amount of crab, not a lot of binder, great seasoning. But let me tell you about the Lobster Bisque! It is incredible! All of the staff was personable and engaging.

Edit:
As the owner stated in their response below: It was a gluten free dish but they put gluten bread as standard on the plate. The menu doesn’t say “gluten free option available” it stays gluten free. I shouldn’t have to specify. So everything that plate should be gluten free. The gluten bread makes it not gluten free. I won’t be back as you don’t take gluten free seriously. What a waste of money.

I’m writing this review for fellow gluten free people so you can make your own decisions. This was my first and last time at this restaurant. My husband and his family come here regularly, but I’ve never gone. I’m very skeptical of new places. I ordered the shrimp and grits which is labeled as gluten free. When I was served my plate there was a piece of bread on it. I’ve been gluten free for 15+ years, you can visually tell the difference in crumb of gluten and non gluten free bread. It was separated from my meal so I plopped it on his plate. But, if I’m paying close to $30 for the dish and it’s labeled gluten free, I should’ve able to trust everything in the plate. It really turned me off. I only ate a few bites. I didn’t enjoy those bites either. The shrimp and grits tasted like curry. It was the most weird combination. I’m spending the rest of my night fearing that I will get sick from wheat contamination.

We ate here tonight for Valentine’s Day and we are so disappointed. It took an hour to get our food and the shrimp, veggies were cold, bread was cold . The appetizer, beef Wellington, was not good and was still cold at the center. My flounder was good, but the only thing I was able to eat. My husband got the prime rib, and it was not up to par either. My husband will usually eat anything and say thank you, so if he cringes at food, you know there’s a reason. We didn’t want to complain to the waitress because she was nice. And obviously the food being bad wasn’t her fault. We had to get our deserts to go bc my husband was on call, but neither of the desserts were what we asked for.

The first time we ate here it was good so we thought it would be a good Valentine’s Day destination, but it was not. Tea light on the table wasn’t working and there was no music playing to set the mood.

$150 meal plus tip.. and we left disappointed. It may have been a fluke night, but I doubt we will be back.

It’s more than 5 stars it as if I were eating in the quarter in Orleans! Very good portions and the spices on the food were perfect! Gordon Ramsey would be amazed! The atmosphere and boutique bar were so inviting! Cheers to Ms. Landry you nailed it!

Valentine’s Day. 1st one’s seated, everyone else got their food and some were getting dessert. Almost an hour later our server finally showed up and my husband asked what happened to our order and she went to check. 10 minutes later she never came back so we paid cash for our drinks and left. This was our 4th visit. The first 2 visits I would rate at 4.5⭐s and the 3rd visit I would give 3⭐s.

Nice view of the river. The shrimp and grits were just ok . The grits were a little sticky and the shrimp were lacking flavor.. 1 small piece of toast and 4 medium sized asparagus was disappointing. They were a nice compliment to the dish but it was not nearly enough. I’m not sure what my wife got but she seemed to like it. Our server was fine. Then our server was kind of rude then our server was fine then our server became a little non attentive. It was a mixed experience I suppose. For the 2 meals and 2 cocktails plus tip it was around $120 which seems a little high for what it was but it was a great night out with my wife and that helped the score improve to 4 stars even though I only scored 3 stars for each category.

I had a truly enjoyable dining experience at this restaurant. The service was great—attentive, timely, and added to the overall positive atmosphere. The Spinach and Artichoke Dip was a delicious appetizer—creamy, well-balanced, and satisfying. The Lamb Chops were expertly prepared, served with a rich and flavorful sauce that paired well with the rice and asparagus. For dessert, the Tiramisu exceeded expectations and elevated the experience to an entirely new level with its delicate layers and balanced sweetness—a memorable end to an excellent meal.
