TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Chicken is a 10/10. It’s super crispy and the flavor is on point. However the Mac and cheese was a disappointment. The business photos make it look good but what I got was basically soupy cheese sauce with a few noodles. If the texture was better it could be good because I like that they add spice to the cheese sauce.

Long lines but the service was fast paced and it moved smoothly. Has a Medium spice has a nice kick without being overpowering. Crinkle-cut fries with cheese were crispy and delicious! They give you extra sauce / honey, but the sandwiches is so flavorful that these aren’t even necessary. It’s a win win for the kiddos who are picky eaters will be back.

Living in Nashville, I thought I would try Dave’s Hot Chicken. The fries were great. The chicken was also good, with good chunks of chicken. The seasoning had a sweet aspect, which is not very common in Nashville, but I enjoyed. They were dry with seasoning rather than a wet sauce. Not very spicy. Definitely worth going back again and for anyone to try.

I’ve been to their restaurant a few times and I have to say, it’s definitely worth the hype. The chicken is cooked to perfection and the seasoning is just right – it’s got the perfect balance of spicy and savory flavors. The sides are also delicious – I highly recommend the mac and cheese and the kale slaw. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I also appreciate that they have a variety of spice levels to choose from, so you can customize your meal based on your preference. Me & my partner were sooooooo excited to try this place , especially because of TikTok lol , but sadly we were a bit disappointed. Like the chicken wasn’t bad but it was bad at the same time. The chicken looked seasoned but tbh it really wasn’t . We got hot & for me it wasn’t really hot to be honest. For my partner it was hot for her but it also gave sweetness which I wasn’t really expecting. The fries , were okay , like it tasted good but I wish it was more fresh. The fries were cold to touch , wasn’t crispy which I was sad about :(. The bread & m&m loaded shake was good ig lol.
