Online Pickup order was 20 minutes late, and when I called to inquire an employee with an attitude hung up on me. Same employee lied in person and said the manager was going to speak to me. After waiting an additional 10 minutes I looped into the empty drive thru, and was told by another employee that the manager was too busy to speak with me at all. Employees then proceeded to giggle and chortle together like children about the fact that my problem was even occurring. Food Refunded and order reversed simply over principle. I’ll never shop here again. Felt blatantly disrespected like I was a rude doordasher, not a paying customer. Owner needs to reevaluate management staff after so many low reviews. Obviously a problem. I wonder how low a rating has to go for the Franchise to drop the location.

Genuinely the worst fast food going experience I’ve ever had. All I wanted was to get my pregnant wife a slushy. Spent 20 minutes at the order board and got no response, pulled up to the window and was greeted by a cashier saying “what do you want.” Told her I wanted a slushy and was told the slushy machine was broken. So I said fine I want a regular limeade and some mozzarella sticks. 30 minutes later we get our order, mozzarella sticks were cold and hard, nearly inedible. Will definitely never be visiting again, sad to see happen to a restaurant I’ve visited for the last 20 years.

Had a pick up order for 3:55, arrived at the drive-thru at 3:53. Was told to wait one minute until I could order. I sat there for 10 minutes in dead silence, so when the line in front of me was totally cleared out I decided to just pull up to the window instead. The floats were totally melted by then, so I asked if they could be remade, she said “The ice cream machine is broken, I will see what I can do” I watched her just put them on the counter for 3 minutes then hand the same ones back to me. I asked her if she could cancel my order and she said they can’t cancel online orders, then told me to have a good day and immediately closed the window (not even giving me the rest of my meal). I sat there for another 3 minutes until she finally realized. I will never go to this Sonic again, I feel like such a Karen, but this was absurdly bad food and service!

Their double smash burger is very tasty and filling as well. Match it with tater tots and a banana shake and you’ve got a lot of calories and a lot of yum. They got a new drive thru intercom system too now so that is good. Can hear em now and can always count on Sonic for good burgers and shakes….

I don’t know if all of the Sonics in Colorado Springs are owned by the same person, but they all seem to suck now. Tonight I ordered two hot dogs and mozzarella sticks in the drive through…it took about 30 minutes for them to hand it to me. The hotdogs were cold, half the bun was stale, and the other half soggy from the condiments soaking in while waiting for the cheese sticks to be ready. Of the two packs of ranch to go with the cheese sticks, one tasted like it had expired. If management is trying to run them into the ground…then they’re doing a great job. Mind boggling…

I came here this morning 1/28/26 I ordered my food than was told with attitude I can’t hear you.so I spoke up and re ordered i asked for a Carmel ice coffee 3 times with my order . The person taking my order than became silent and said nothing to confirm order or total. So I waited for a response then I figured i should pull forward. I get to the window and she tells me my total with a attitude and closed the drive threw window with a attitude hand me my change with a attitude and then gives me a hot black coffee which I did not want . At this point I feel if I correct her she will be spitting in my drink so I left and decided to just give you a review. I believe her name is savanna that’s the name on my receipt. I understand people have bad days but she was just rude and it is uncalled for. My chk number was 33 if yoall need to know .

Not a quick drive thru! Sat in the drive thru for over 15 minutes and didn’t move at all. We were 2 cars back from the ordering point and there were no cars in front of them all the way to the delivery window. There were also no cars at any of the stalls. I like to be optimistic and think that the staff were doing something productive but for a drink I’m not waiting that long to find out. We left after 15 minutes without being served.

Servers are always nice but the place has def gone downhill. I’ve been through and the intercom was down or the ice cream isn’t working. I used to get their cheese fries but they changed to some cheaper crinkle fries. I tried the tater tot’s and they were cold with just slices of cheese thrown on them lol. Location is great just sucks I’ll have to drive farther for something else because it’s been poor quality here too many times.

Terrible service from a “manager” named Emily, this individual refused service to a disabled person literally for no reason. Whoever is in charge of this sonic location did not make it any better, this was their response to the disabled person “ We’re sorry to hear you had a negative experience at one of our SONIC locations. We really encourage you to speak with the manager on duty so that they’re aware and able to offer immediate resolution. Thank you.” The disabled person DID ask for a manager which was Emily. The disabled person TRIED to get help but was not offered an immediate resolution, instead the disabled person was shamed for their disability and embarrassed the person for no reason. Shame on this location and I hope nobody brings business to it.

Do not go to this location. The last straw for me was a couple of months ago when I ordered Dr Pepper that tasted sour. They burnt the fries, so they tasted acrid like motor oil. The breakfast sandwich was also burnt, the bacon was burned to the point that it looked like charcoal. Service is incredibly slow and staff is in constant changing hands. Go to a different sonic.
