Welcome to Rising Creek Bakery, where salt rising bread is our specialty (which we ship all over the USA), but we don’t stop there. We fill our case daily with cheesecakes, pies, donuts, cookies, many gluten free options, macaroons, pecan bars, and SO MUCH MORE! We serve breakfast and lunch all day. Our sandwiches are prepared on our house made sour dough bread. We have daily soups, quiche, and other fresh sides to chose from. We have outdoor seating and free wifi for guests. We also have an extensive catering menu and would love to make a cookie tray, sandwich tray, birthday cake, etc for your next event. Thank you for shopping small!

A rainy day in the region, and I wanted to try someplace new for breakfast. I drove to Mount Morris, PA to a place called Rising Creek Bakery (aptly named, as the creek was rising behind the restaurant).

After two fabulous birthday pies in the past 2 weeks (one apple and one mixed berry) i have to say, these bakers make THE BEST fruit pies on the planet. The crust is perfect- flakey and buttery and beautiful. The filling perfect, plenty of delicious fresh fruit, scrumptious flavor and not too sweet. We have tried other pies, but Rising Creek’s are at another level. Truly homemade with the best ingredients and some impressive artistry. ♥️

Delicious baked goods with wonderful staff. Came by to grab a bunch of cookies, and each kind was great! Saw some breakfast items going out, and they looked great as well. Next time I’m in, I’ll def be trying a breakfast/brunch meal here

I’ve haven’t had good stinky salt rising bread in 30 years, wife bought their book when in Virginia and I read it cover to cover. Their Address is in it so I did my 1st order. Many more to come.

Came because of reviews, will return because the food is awesome!!! Breakfast choices are priced right and are soooo good. Outside seating only, after you order, in a beautiful creekside setting. Then grab some bread and bakery goods before you head home. Such a good thing they have going here, no wonder they are opening a second location in Morgantown soon!

My 1st time there, it didn’t disappoint. Service was friendly, food was fresh and tasty. Farm fresh eggs and bacon really make a difference over grocery store ingredients. The salt rising bread paired perfectly with the tomato gravy (like a tomato bisque with fresh chunks of tomato). Weather today was perfect, and the peaceful atmosphere of the grass and trees and creek and ducks… highly recommend a visit.
