Best food in Carmichael, maybe in all of Sacramento! We have been looking for a decent Mexican style restaurant in this area for over a year…We Have Found it! Our party of five loved everything we ordered. And I can’t tell you enough about the homemade salsa…delicious! The parking is tight, the seating is also but worth it! Please do yourself a favor and give them a try. Ps. Super busy when open, recommend takeout if your in a hurry or have a big group.

So, my toes are wiggling as I write this because I’m that happy to be back at Rey’s. We remember when this location opened. We had just moved in around the corner & it quickly became our rest hole. My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place!!! It is our go to when we are craving Mexican food and it’s not too expensive either. The service is always great! It’s a little hole in the wall but for me those places are always the best and I recommend this to all my friends! The drinks are great as well I always get the alambres and the blackberry mojito!

Went there to eat several times before. The food is pretty decent. Staff is friendly. I do not suggest going there if you have a large family unless they are not crowded. The place is small, and there is only one outside bathroom per sex. Also, the beighborhood is pretty run down anymore. Otherwise, enjoy the great food and service.

I ordered the Mega Wet Burrito and it was great. Their chips are seasoned and their green sauce with lime and cilantro is very good. The pastor was seasoned nicely with a spice I couldn’t put my finger on, I thought maybe it was cumin? Either way it was hands down one of the best burritos I’ve had from Sacramento .

This is one of the best places to eat Mexican food. Im big on the Mole chicken enchiladas. We ordered from all over the menu. My son loves the cheese pizza. Enjoy your dinner. You won’t regret it.
