The food here is great, I’ve been going here for a few years now and whenever I take my friends/family here they love it!! The service is the best here, they always treat me and my friends/family like with care and respect. However, there was an incident that happened a few weeks ago with another table while I was there and they were very disrespectful to the staff, they were way over dramatic and the staff did all they could to be kind and respectful to the mean people. At the end of the day this is a great place to dine at, 10/10 recommend!!!

Eh, $50 for a piece of fish with a side of steamed broccoli isn’t worth it. For what they charge here, I really expected better than steamed veggies for a child. I’d avoid the place, ok food at best, not worth the price.

We have made Renato’s our neighborhood restaurant, frequently eating there with our family and friends for the past 7 years. We have noticed lately the food was just ok and the prices doubled – very overpriced for what they offer. However, we still went there because the service has been one of the best parts of dining there , until tonight .

Average food with above average prices and good service. The house sauce is tasty, but the pasta isnt freshly made in house. The lobster ravioli comes in a house tomato sauce instead of the lobster cream sauce and is marked as market price though the ravioli looks like the same one costco sells, it’s definitely not made in house or worth getting especially for the price. The desserts were good, the cheesecake and the pan with ice cream and chocolate sauce on top was very tasty and large. Most of the staff speak Spanish and it looks like they have returning customers, it’s a family restaurant and people seem to really enjoy it.

Renato at River Falls is an absolute gem among Italian restaurants! From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the warm and inviting ambiance that made me feel right at home. The attentive staff greeted me with genuine smiles and offered impeccable service throughout the entire dining experience.

An old school restaurant with good service but the food is underwhelming and overpriced. Good for groups though, especially if you have an older crowd who enjoys a quieter, slightly stodgy environment.

My husband has been wanting to take me here and I’m glad we went! It was excellent! Probably one of the best Italian places in Montgomery County! They are pricey, but worth it!

The service and pizza here was the quality of a money laundering front. Best part was that I could eat outside and not have to sit in the restaurant which smelled like a fish market. My pizza consisted of bland bread with pasta red sauce and a chunk of cheese. The waiter was nice though!

My friend grew-up in Potomac, so we spent a full day wandering about her old neighborhood reminiscing. That night, for dinner, we dined at Renato, which was sublime. From the wine to the calamari to the pasta to the service, it was such an air of elevated, elegant comfort. There was an easy warmth that wrapped us up and returned us to a nostalgic time, that somehow felt dreamlike.

Service is excellent. The food is nice but a bit bland except for too much garlic in the spinach, which sticks with you for days!
