I ordered Red Lobster through Uber Eats expecting the same quality and accuracy I would have receive dining in. Unfortunately, this experience was not AT ALL the same.
Oh course when ordering with Uber Eats items are priced way higher than they would be if we were dining in. So, a long black hair being in my platter is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE and, it a serious food safety concern. Then, without contacting me, the restaurant took it upon themselves to substituted the sides I order with mashed potatoes and asparagus, neither of which I eat. If an item is unavailable, I should be contacted not forced into substitutions when you all are not aware of my dietary needs. Also, instead of my large order of lobster bisque and half dozen Cheddar Bay Biscuits, I was “compensated” with a chocolate cake. How is that even the same? You all could have kept the random replacements.
As a courtesy, I called up there to let the manager know she’s got some food safety concerns going on in her kitchen. She did offer for me to come to the restaurant for another order the next day. However, an establishment only gets one time to mishandled my food there are no do overs.
I am writing to formally express my complete dissatisfaction with the service and management at this location. My husband and I chose your restaurant to celebrate Valentine’s Day and our 9-year anniversary, and what we experienced was unacceptable from start to finish.
The bartender took our drink order. My husband received his drink — mine never came. I waited 30 minutes to be acknowledged again. During that time, I observed a server physically pick something out of a drink she was about to serve to a customer. That level of carelessness and lack of sanitation is alarming.
When the bartender finally returned to take our food order, I informed her not to bother making my drink at that point. We placed a simple order for fish. We were already uneasy after hearing multiple tables around us complain about their food and service. We were then told there were no broccoli or green beans available, and the only substitute option was something I am allergic to.
We proceeded to wait another 45 minutes with a dirty counter in front of us and still no food. To make matters worse, we were told there were no biscuits — something that is considered standard and expected. At no point did a manager come to check on guests, address complaints, or attempt to recover what was clearly a failing shift.
This was Valentine’s Day and our 9-year anniversary. We ultimately left and went to Del Taco. The lack of organization, cleanliness, urgency, and visible management oversight is unacceptable for any establishment, especially on a holiday.
Management failed this location that evening. We will not be returning unless this matter is addressed appropriately.
Drinks we’re delicious. It would have been nice to have had that drink sooner than 20 minutes after I ordered it and had you ever came back and asked I may have ordered another drink. As the customer, I like the option to have a second drink. Seeing how your tip is based of a percentage of what I order, it may be in your best interest to at least consider this when waiting on people consuming alcohol.
Crab Queso, tasted delicious. It was a crab filled dinner for the Birthday Grrl. She also enjoyed the garlic butter drenched pound of crab legs served over crispy fried potatoes.
I enjoyed every bit of my grilled shrimp. Orzo was crunchy, over microwaved . Fries had a crunch too but in a good way. 18 plus dollars, light on the grill marks, inedible orzo/rice. Appetizer was better than the entree today.
Great meal, I’m not sure if I’d say I had a great dining experience. Lots of time waiting.
Waiting to be greeted. Waiting on drinks. Waiting on food. Waiting on the bill. Waiting on the server to get the money for the bill.
overcooked baked potatoes undercooked fish burnt fries and I don’t even know what to tell you those hush puppies were.
if I can give it no stars I would but i know we are never coming back
