Large portions but food is adequate at best. The drinks lack luster. The best part of the visit was the service. I will give them another chance for HH. Their Instagram page makes it look more fun and festive.

Cool place to hang out, it has both indoor and outdoor sitting, with plenty of seats. The outdoor area is perfect especially if you are into taking instagrams pictures, as there is a school bus on the wall and some swing chair at the bar area. There are trees and little birds outside, so pay attention to the chairs before you take a sit. I ordered a Negroni and it was really good, the food came in pretty quick , in about 30 minutes after arrival we were almost finished eating. Also, it is a dog friendly place.

Picked this on a whim for a lunch with a friend, it was absolutely amazing! The back patio is huge, shady, cool, colorful, perfect. Margaritas, aperol, shrimp appetizer and veggie tacos were all great. Will definitely be back!

Went here for the first time as we’ve been to every restaurant in downtown Chandler but this one. Not crowded at all for a Sunday lunch. Service was great. The food…not so great. The stuffed popper appetizer was really good. The clTinga de polli enchiladas were dry and unappealing. For $15 they should have been better. The peach chicken sandwich was a disaster. Think of a large, processed chicken nugget on a bun. Only could stomach half of it. The French fries were pretty good, but another $15 down the drain for a big chicken nugget on a bun. The waitress did offer to discount our food, but we’re not into that. We paid full fair and headed out. They lost us as a repeat customer on this visit.

I’ll begin by saying this was St. Patrick’s Day at 4 in the afternoon and Recreo is just a couple of doors down from Murphy’s Law Irish Pub which had a line, and wait, to get into. With that being said, Recreo was clearly not prepared in regard to staffing on this particular afternoon. We had been at Murphy’s, for several hours, but decided to leave and go to Recreo to eat. The restaurant was busy but there were two open seats at the bar we were able to take. We waited 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order (let me say again…we were seated at the bar) and no one ever…as long as we were seated there…cleared the dirty dishes from the guests who had sat there before us). Because we weren’t getting good service, and the dirty dishes weren’t moving, we decided to not try the food their that day. We had 2 drinks and left.

Normally, I don’t like to put down restaurants because different people have tastes, so with that in mind that this is my only experience with this place. Its not terrible but it just really wasn’t good. The ambiance is nice, lots of fun games and it’s big with lots of seating. The guys who were our servers were awesome and attentive. The food on the other hand, was lackluster; I wanted to return my food. My dish came with a fried chicken component and it had the weirdest flavor, I had a hard time identifying it. My husband got the ribeye Mac and cheese, it had good flavor but the “ribeye” was so thin and shaved. It cost $23 for like $4 in meat. Then when we paid for our bill with our debit card, the ticket came back with a higher amount. We got hit with a 3.5% surcharge for using our card! I’ve never heard of this before and I know prices have gone up but this is a deal breaker for me. It’s not that I’m cheap, it’s that I already feel I didn’t get my money’s worth. Hopefully, this won’t be a new thing with restaurants! Anyway, give this place a try to judge for yourself, I’m just so disappointed.

Great location downtown Chandler . Sit at the bar outside or inside. Fajitas were great! Blackberry Margarita also was tasty.

This place had great service and everybody working was fun to interact with. Little pricey for my tastes but everything looks and tastes amazing. They have beautiful live music playing, not loud enough that you can’t hear the other people at your table but just enough to enjoy it. Also for coming on a Saturday its was relatively not busy.

Great place for a a Friday night happy hour. Lots of games and fun things to do. Amazing patio vibes and with the misters even the arizona summer is bearable. Love the cute bar concept with the swings. Will say they do not have anything for gluten free peeps other than 1 salad. Yes only one thing on the menu the server told us is gluten free. I would love for them to add a few more gluten free items. Couldn’t really eat so left after the group had one appetizer.

I would give this place another try maybe in the evening. We went for brunch and it looked so empty we thought it was closed. Price point seemed a bit high for the food. The chicken sandwich was good, the tuna appetizer was a nice fresh snack but the Monkey Fries took the show! Who would have thought banana ketchup would be pretty good.
