This establishment has a lot to offer, I felt at home here, the staff was pleasant and helpful. The menu has something for everyone, with a menu to suit a picky family. Prices are fair and it really feels like home with a home cooked meal!! Definitely recommend stopping here if you’re driving through, it’s the best food in town!

Home cooking at it’s best! I absolutely recommend Ray’s Southern Cuisine! Give them a try and when you do, ask for Hannah, she’s a terrific server. I’ll definitely be back….time and again! Yummy! I had pork chops, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. My Mother had meatloaf, turnip greens, and mashed potatoes. My son enjoyed a huge bowl of fresh fruit. The food is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced, the service is top notch, friendly, and fast! You won’t regret checking out Ray’s Southern Cuisine!

Food is amazing!!! The fact everything is made from scratch and cooked to order make sit even better! Had a wonderful service by Deana. Very attentive to our needs. Dessert we had peanut butter pie and the chocolate lava cake and the key lime cheesecake which is better than the one we had in Panama City Florida! Missing out if you don’t stop by and try their plates out!!!!

Got there 522 server hurried and said kitchen will be closing in 30 minutes. We ordered onion rings no onions brought our tea no ice ask for cup of ice, ordered fried tomatoes, burnt, had to ask for silverware and napkins, still no plates. ordered pork chops, pinto and slaw. No pintos, ordered okra came after we started eating. Pork chops were hard and burnt on one side. The corn bread was not done either it was white look like cake. We asked for to go box we don’t know why cause I wouldn’t give it to my dog. Tea would have been good if they had brought it with ice and lemon like we asked. Want ever go back there. The server was in a hurry and had the personality of a goat. The bill was $41! Pathetic! I shouldn’t be surprised. Typical Lafayette, the end of the earth. No Tip

So for the amount of food and the quality. It’s amazing. The taste is better than any restaurant here in Lafayette. If I could give it ten stars I would. If you like home cooked meals and miss family dinners I’d definitely come check them out. It’s so good. Our awesome waitress was Miss Bailey. I would highly recommend her, she is as very down to earth and and brought our food out in a timely manner. Not to mention she made sure that we always had drinks when needed. Over all i high recommend Ray’s Southern Cuisine restaurant. It’s amazing to say the least. Thank you the Brackett family!

This was our second time eating here. Fantastic food and a wonderful server named Hannah. We were on the fence about what to get. Hannah had several great suggestions. We went with the chicken and red velvet waffle. It was really good. We asked for honey mustard for the chicken fingers and it was really yummy too. I really wish I would have gotten a picture of everything. I do have a picture of the shrimp plate from our first visit. I’ll post that. Shrimp, mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. Tartar sauce and cocktail sauce were amazing. On our first visit we had a slight issue and they made everything perfect. Couldn’t possibly ask for a better place to eat. Couldn’t ask for nicer people. The live music was also nice to listen to while we ate. Awesome portions and amazing food. You won’t leave hungry.

Lots of menu items! I have a shellfish allergy, and always ask if the same fryer is used for everything. Unfortunately, this is the case at Ray’s. This really restricts what I’m able to order. Our food was good and the server was really nice. It was a bit pricey for lunch.
