1st Time Here. This Restaurant is in Zapata, Texas. It’s an Elegant and Clean Restaurant. I ordered The RINCON Special and My Love ordered the Fajita Plate and she loved the Rice and Mix Fajitas❤️I also taught my Plate was Delicious with only 1 Exception. Their Refried Beans tasted like can beans from HEB But I’ll definitely go back if I’m ever in these neck of the woods.

The atmosphere is nice, My waitress was nice. The the presentation of the food was good. I tried the combination plate and it was ok . The chips and the taco shells were little too hard but, if I go back I would try something else perhaps the fajitas.

Came to Falcon Lake for some fishing but thought we’d try this place for dinner. Complimentary “Appetizer” soup was a nice touch and very good. The red salsa was also very tasty, especially on the El Rincon Special; which was what I had for dinner. Beef enchilada, beef taco and chicken fried steak covered with cheese along with rice and beans. Really great tasting food. Service was outstanding, our waiter probably refilled our tea/soda 5 times!

My favorite place to eat when I work in our outer office in Zapata. There is plenty of parking, and the restaurant seats plenty of people. My favorite dish on the menu is the Mexican Salad w/ grilled chicken. I absolutely love their marinade used for the chicken, paired with the crisp jícama and flavorful dressing. Staff is always helpful and the items on the menu are priced just right.
