It was such a great time! We came for dinner with friends and enjoyed the fajitas, lemon pepper salmon and tacos, all of it was delicious. The owner is really friendly and came over and answered all of our questions and spoke to us about the history of the restaurant and Zapata! Truly a lovely experience and we will be back!

I don’t know what all the hype is about the chicken fried steak. The meat itself is very tender and tasty. The gravy and cheese is an overkill. The Mexican plate was not good. The only decent item on the plate were the fajitas. The restaurant is nice with a great atmosphere. Our waitress was outstanding.

My favorite place to eat when I work in our outer office in Zapata. There is plenty of parking, and the restaurant seats plenty of people. My favorite dish on the menu is the Mexican Salad w/ grilled chicken. I absolutely love their marinade used for the chicken, paired with the crisp jícama and flavorful dressing. Staff is always helpful and the items on the menu are priced just right.

I love this place. The grilled salmon steak with grilled vegs is phenomenal. I’ve tried other entrees and all very good. Service is spectacular, always respectful, courteous and mindful of any needs while your there. A great place in my opinion

Came to Falcon Lake for some fishing but thought we’d try this place for dinner. Complimentary “Appetizer” soup was a nice touch and very good. The red salsa was also very tasty, especially on the El Rincon Special; which was what I had for dinner. Beef enchilada, beef taco and chicken fried steak covered with cheese along with rice and beans. Really great tasting food. Service was outstanding, our waiter probably refilled our tea/soda 5 times!

El rincon is my favorite spot to eat lunch here in zapata. I will go once a week to get the el rincon special. Just something magical about that plate that always wills me up. The cook there fajita to perfection and the enchiladas are incredible. The service is always quick and helpful they truly want to help and serve you.

Whenever I am in Zapata, I eat at El Rincon. They have great food choices that are delicious & reasonably priced. Their service is beyond compare which alone makes it worthwhile to stop. I only wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. Looking forward to returning again next week.
