Come support this locally owned shop. This couple is put’n it down. The whole family pitches in.
This is more of a take out than dine in atmosphere.
Ribs – 10/10
Amazing flavor and cooked perfectly. Kissing my fingers into the air like a French chef. Boom!
Brisket- 7/10
Meat was tender with a smoky flavor. There was just something about it that threw me off. I didn’t like the cubed cut style.
Collards – 9/10
Perfectly cooked FRESH collards. A little under seasoned, but your mouth can only handle so many dynamics. So, it is pallet cleansing to include these on your plate.
Mac n Cheese – 8/10
Fab southern flare with this dish. Creamy and a perfect side.
Baked Beans – 7/10
Another southern fav.
BBQ Sauce – 10/10
If they sold it in bottles I would have taken a dozen. THE best BBQ sause I’ve had in a long long time. Sweet and tangy.

The menu may seem limited, but it has all you need. Any meat can be made into a sandwhich, or solo, and the sides are the comfort food type.
We ordered the Brisket and Pulled Pork Sammies, the Loaded Fries (w/ pork and sausage), and then I really just wanted the Mac n Cheese, but asked to add some brisket on top. They don’t typically do that, but he made it work. It was all delicious, and came out quick. The only small delay was the fries because they were cooked to order.
Drink options are only bottles of soda and water, and small juices, but covers the basics.
There are a couple tables to eat inside, but everything can be packed to go. Food can be served on the tray or in containers.
Overall, I’m glad we stopped in, and I know we will go back if our route takes us near Exit 34.
If you’re looking for mouthwatering BBQ served with a side of genuine hospitality, this family-owned spot is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like one of their own. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with the kind of charm that only a family-run place can offer.
The food? Incredible. The ribs fall off the bone, the brisket is smoky and tender, and the pulled pork is packed with flavor. You can tell they put real love into their recipes – everything tastes homemade and perfectly seasoned. Their BBQ sauces are top-notch too, especially the house special – tangy with just the right amount of heat.
Sides like mac and cheese, baked beans, and cornbread only add to the comfort food vibe. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and you leave full and happy every time.
Whether you’re a BBQ connoisseur or just someone who appreciates good food made with care, this place hits the spot. It’s not just a meal – it’s a reminder of what makes local dining so special.
Highly recommended!
