The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was laid back. Food portions are small, yet some are sharable. I enjoyed how attentive the wait staff were. The drinks were great. The tequila flights are a must, as well as the tacos. The food is yummy despite being overpriced for such small portions. I would return, though.

Cozy, nice and elegant. Great Bar area. This is a tapas type of restaurant so portions are small but not the paella. Tasted a few tapas and the flavors are authentic. Nice drinks as well.

On our first visit, everything we ordered was either very good or great. We ate every bit of everything we ordered and then shared two desserts. We returned to Ratio several weeks later, after a disappointing meal at a different restaurant, to get dessert. We sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender, who—if I understood correctly—runs (perhaps owns also?) the place. He took our order for a couple of desserts (we opted for the same two as we did on our first visit), they arrived in what seemed to be mere nanoseconds, and they were every bit as delicious as the first time we tried them. We had a nice chat with the bartender about the restaurant and how much we had enjoyed our previous visit. We are looking forward to returning soon!

Yes, the restaurant is a vibe, the workers are so sweet and the wait time is very short BUT the food was very mediocre/bland. I’m fine with the portions being small but with them being so small you’d think the food would be full of flavor but that was not the case unfortunately.

Bartending customer service is pretty terrible. My wife and I aren’t scientists or mixologists, but these $12 drinks definitely weren’t poured equal. My wife said something to him and he brushed her off without any positive feedback. Food is great.

I was very excited about coming here because of their great reviews. Although their service was great I was disappointed by some of their plates. I was not blown away by the flavors of their small plates like I thought I would be. I was most excited for the mussels and beef tartare. The beef tartare was pretty good but it definitely felt reminiscent on tuna because of the choice of ingredients. It was soy/sesame based so it definitely seemed like tuna rather than beef, but it definitely was my favorite plate overall. The mussels were cooked just right but the broth, which I was most excited about was quite bland. Not enough salt and it had mostly had a smokey taste from the chorizo also tomato paste? I was hoping more of a balance of salt, acid and sea but I didn’t get any of that. It was just watery and a bit smokey. The Pork Chicharrones were cooked well but I felt that there was too much BBQ sauce to get through and it felt as it the sauce wasn’t warmed up before the pork of coated in it. Cold BBQ sauce on meat is never good. Too sweet of a BBQ sauce by the way, needs more apple cider vinegar or something. The empanadas were good, meat was tender and well seasoned. The tacos were alright but not $13 good. I left me wanting more flavor. The chicken thigh in the taco was very tender and cooked just right but I’ve had much more complex tasting tacos at Mexican mom n’ pop shops. It needed more acidity, more freshness in my personal opinion. Personally as a cook I think acid is underused in many kitchens and I felt that it was lacking here.

Nick’s service was incredible – was knowledgeable about the drinks and dishes. Food was delicious – our favorites were the Mahi dish, watermelon salad, pork belly, and the peaches and cream dessert. Will be back again soon!

Amazing! They advise you to take more than one dish. My husband and I chose 4 + 2 dessert in total.

We made reservations for our early Valentines Day dinner through google maps and Resy (how convenient!!!) We drove about an hour and 25 minutes from Augusta to try this place out after seeing the amazing reviews. Upon arrival, parking is ample and FREE! We were greeted and seated immediately. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands, came back out and our server was at the table bringing water and asking if we were ready to order any drinks. I asked her to give me a few minutes, I knew I wanted to drink but just wanted to mull over the menu for a minute. As I’m doing this, another couple of people walk in and are seated beside us. Our waitress finally comes back after a while and we place our food and drink orders. The couple beside us place their order with a different waitress and there food and drinks came out within about 10-15 minutes of them ordering. It felt like it took our food FOREVER to come out. Not sure if we just got overlooked or if our waitress was doing something else while our food was waiting on us. Either way, we ordered the tacos, the ribs and the empanadas. Tacos were room temperature, they tasted pretty good though. The ribs and empanadas were pipping hot and delicious! After we finished the food, we were ready to order more food and drinks. Our waitress kinda disappeared for long stretches of time in between our orders so I don’t feel like I really got to order as much as I wanted, especially the cocktails, they were AMAZING! I was apprehensive about writing this review because despite being a woman of color from the south, I’ve never experienced much discrimination, & being that I was a waitress in the past and knowing many waitresses now, I understand the stereotype that black people DONT TIP. (This is absolutely untrue by the way.) I don’t 100% feel like we were being overlooked because of our skin color but the speed issue was not one of the bar or the chef, again, everyone around us received food and drink very quickly, most of which came in after us. It doesn’t help that we were the only black patrons and it was pretty much a full house Friday night before Valentine’s Day. None the less, our food came out to $124, we gave her a $20 tip anyway because I hate to ASSume but I would just be aware if you are a POC. I’ve never blatantly felt like I was being treated less than another person, I am, however, grateful for the other servers who stepped in to bring us food and drink from the bar and kitchen as they had the spare time. That is the only reason I am giving a 4 star review instead of 5 and it pains me to dock that star, I usually don’t let these types of things bother me and by usually I mean NEVER but it kinda damped my overall experience, especially when I see how hard everyone else was working and the beautiful vision the chef has put into this place. Please don’t let my opinion deter you from trying this place out for yourself. The decor and the vibe are super chíc. The drinks are good and the food was yummy. No one was unpleasant at all, not even our waitress. She was very pleasant just not very PRESENT. A simple ‘sorry for the wait’ would have sufficed, that’s the only reason I’m lead to believe she didn’t care to check on us because she didn’t think we would tip her anyway. ‍♀️
