Time: 7/31/23 [ 9pm] incredible attention. Our waitress was Marisela, attentive all the time, it didn’t take a minute for the water and starters to be on the table, the atmosphere was perfect, the music was right, the food was very well organized on the table, the waiting time was short I hope that the comments of other local guides are positive since I have been pleased and more than 100% satisfied with visiting this Cuban restaurant. I thank the administration for their good work team, my blessings to the bartender who prepared me one (michelada) gave it a god level touch, I will definitely be back

My family went here for some good real Cuban food. My husband use to eat here when he was young. We kinda got a little of everything Our waiter was very helpful and provided excellent service. I also had to have a Cuban Mohito, which was really good. The food was good but not as good as my mother-in-laws cooking. We felt the food could have used some more seasoning. There was only one problem, the restrooms where disgusting. Overall a good restaurant for the price, as long as they clean up the restrooms.

At first they gave me a poorly made and extremely small Milanese chicken but when I went back for a new better made one, it was way bigger, very fresh and steaming hot with amazing goodness, they even let me keep the old order. I tipped both waitresses and here’s a 5 star review for just how great the service was! Very nice manager and employees.

Both my husband and I were disappointed with our visit to the La Carreta in Hialeah. We’ve been to the one in Miami close to Little Havana as well as the one at International Mall and both are great with service and great with food. However, this place is a different story. First, building is in disrepair. Secondly, service was “secondhand” for us. We’re good tippers, but that day, we were not given the professional attention expected. Food was not too good either. Vaca frita was super over cooked and by that I mean toasted to the point it was hard to swallow (taste was good but texture was just too hard to swallow). The picadillo was not the way it should be. Bottomline, we were not happy with our visit to this place and will never be coming back.

The food took an hour and a half—the worst service ever. The chop (chuleta) was dry, meat had no flavor, I have been in other carretas and never had this problem. The waiter (raul) was very rude and had no patience.

Amazing service and the best Cuban food around. My Cafe con Leche was very good, the calamari was excellent, food is made quickly and still fresh and hot, and the atmosphere is nice.
