Celebrated my birthday here today and was gifted bowl of birthday noodles! So yummy and fresh pulled noodles! Family enjoyed their sushi and soup dumplings. Owners and servers were so kind and accommodating for my elderly parents. Nice option for authentic Chinese if you do not want to travel to Squirrel Hill.

BEST ASIAN RESTAURANT IN SOUTH HILLS!! The food is authentic and the staff is super friendly!! The place is open and clean!! It’s a must eat at place in this area!! The price point is fair for the quality and quantity! Sushi was super fresh! The knife cut noodles is comparable to Hong Kong!! Taste even better than Everyday Noodles in Squirrel hill!!

Awesome place for Ramen. Anything here with hand-made noodles is very good. I love their spicy dice chicken Ramen. The ramen is on the pricer side with spicy dice chicken priced around $18. Sushi is average at best. You can avoid sushi here.

I loved seeing the chef pull the noodles, it was an impressive technique.

My husband and I ordered takeout from here after reading some pretty positive reviews and we’re sadly disappointed. $70 later and we’re less than satisfied.

My first experience at Ramen King was very good. My brother and I both had the beef Ramen (his was pulled while mine was cut ramen) and we had the fried pork buns which were delicious. The service was prompt and the only small complaint that I had was that the dining room was loud due to lack of decoration to absorb the sound.

So happy that an authentic asian restaurant opened in the south hill area. Definitely order the beef noodle soup. The beef is very flavorful and the soup reminds me of lanzhou noodle soup. The knife cut noodle is fresh and chewy. The fried noodle is so great. The knife cut noodle soaks up the flavor very well. The meat in the bao is soft and melts in your mouth. Overall great good and would definitely come back again!

After all the good reviews I read, I’m surprised that I was not a fan of this place. Granted, I don’t eat sushi and am ambivalent about ramen, but I generally like Asian food. So I ordered the knife sliced stir fried noodles with shrimp and they were just ok. Not a huge amount of shrimp and it was overcooked. Not many vegetables either. I’m told by my son that the sushi was the best he’s ever had. My husband and other son got the soup. One got the seafood and the other got the chicken. There was some kind of weird flavor in the broth that we didn’t care for. The soup portion was huge but still very expensive. The potstickers were the best thing we ate. The staff was very friendly, but not as attentive as they should have been. So unfortunately we won’t be going back.
