We have driven by a few times and finally able to stop! We ordered the Fredericksburg burger, a hot dog with sauerkraut and I added mustard, and two other burgers ( ll burgers are 1/2 lbs), we ordered three fries to share with the table. Sodas were in bottles by the checkout. it was very quaint inside and plenty of activities and seating on the side. The lavatory was outside of the main dining area on the side.

Out riding the Hill Country backcountry discovery route TXHCBDRx on adventure motorcycles. This restaurant was not far off the track, so we went for lunch. We all really enjoyed it.
They have veggie burgers. The fries were plentiful and good. I wish they had fountain drinks and ice.

Archie (Dog) and I made a trip to Fredericksburg yesterday for the 9th annual vintage motorcycle show at Pecan Grove Store.
It was extremely bussy becouse of the event so the wait for the food was long but the service was fantastic. The wait was fun. I sat at a table and made new friends, talked bikes, and played with my dog.
The atmosphere was enjoyable and the band was incredible! There famous dino burgers are delicious and I got the chillicheese burger.

Very eclectic little foodie joint. Burgers were amazing and chili cheese fries are the bomb. P.S. arrive very hungry or prepare to take a doggie bag?

Read online that they had the best burger around and it did not disappoint. We had three different burgers, a BLT, and seasoned fries. All bursting with flavor. Great quality bacon. Friendly staff and cool atmosphere. They have old school candies for sale too. 4 stars instead of 5 because the tomatoes were mealy. When a sandwich has only 3 ingredients you expect them all to be top quality. Recommend and would come back.

i had such high hopes. We saw them all over Facebook and the burgers looked great. In addition to the great food, the building seemed pretty cool and nostalgic.

Arriving showed limited parking, but that’s not even on my radar.

We grabbed drinks and ordered our food. Two burgers, large fries, two bottled sodas. $50 and change. I was shocked a bit, but if the food was good…ok…let’s go.

We waited. And waited. And waited. At about the 30 minute mark, we were told a large call in order came in, and “sorry ‘bout that”.

We were ready to leave and ask for a refund when they told us our food was ready.

Disappointing does not begin to cover it. The burgers were nothing to look at. The lettuce was sad. They forgot the bacon on mine (which I paid extra for). The first bite was 100% off putting. The patty was completely unseasoned. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.

I ate half of it, and just put it back in the bag. My wife took a bite and that was it. It was not worth the calories. We ate the french fries, but at $9.50 for a large fries, they were remarkably mediocre.

I spent 5 guys money and got something that was a hodgepodge of Sysco/BenE Keith that was executed poorly. A toddler with a playskool kitchen would have done better.

Ranking burgers I have had that are better than Pecan Grove Store’s.

If I was riding or driving on a cruise and stopped there to eat…I would be mad.

The atmosphere was Ok. People were waiting, many as long as we had. You could feel stress.

Maybe they need to worry about the quality of their food (especially at that price) than the live music they have playing.

Who is calling this the best burger they’ve ever had? Where else have you gone? You need to get out more.

Will not go back.

We stopped at the Pecan Grove Store on a Tuesday, a day they are not open. The young man was kind and allowed.my elderly mother use of the restroom. I took this time to look around and ask a few questions about their venue and what they provided. I was told about their American menu of burgers. I also learned that they had live music. I will most definely return to the Pecan Grove Store. The hospitality that was shared on their off day, must most certainly be magnified on a open day. I am definely going back. Way to share Texas hospitality!

It was an awesome spot to stop and explore. Prices are fairly high compared to what we have in Azle. Make sure you tell them you want your burger done. Mine was raw in the middle, but we were already back on the road before I noticed. I was disappointed that with all the seasoning that I could see/smell that I couldn’t really taste it. $2 for cheese on a burger seems really high to me, but they were packed, so maybe just my opinion.

This is more of a bar type atmosphere and Absolutely NOT the best burger in town. Don’t get me wrong, it is a cool place with some really neat people, the back yard was beautiful but they forgot the cheese, the bottom bun was a soggy mush and the “dino” fries were horribly over seasoned with a funky green yellow grease. We could not figure out what that unpleasant taste was, lost our appetites, threw it all away and went back into town to Burger Burger on Main which has a WAY better burger hands down and they dont make mistakes with your food because they are a restraunt and not a place to over indulge, if you get my drift.

Worst experience we’ve had in a long time!! It was our first time visiting the Pecan Grove Store. Feels like a fun, historical building but the burgers were not good. We feel so deceived by previous reviews. It look them 45 minutes to get us our 2 burgers and fries. The burger patty had no seasoning and was very bland. A tiny piece of white bib lettuce with a nothing special bun. I was thankful that at least the seasoned fries were good so I didn’t leave hangry and had something to eat. I took one bite of the burger and spit it out. Not worth the hype nor the drive!! Very disappointed!
