12 in the afternoon & they had nothing available. No chicken, no empanadas. Just steak & oxtail. Meat was very soft but the taste wasn’t so flavorful.

Clearly family operated, was told it would be at least 30 minutes due to the large party who had just ordered. The honesty had me from the get go. Had the meat sampler plate, order the bell pepper sauce and onions with it.The bread is unique and perfect for grabbing meet, the meet is seasoned well and cooked perfectly.

Placed an order online at 2:07 p.m. The ETA was between 3:02 and 3:12. This was an order for a group of 7. At 3:17 they call me saying they don’t have 2 of the items, 1 being the main course. The lady apologized and said she has an appointment. Someone accepted the order because I know how GrubHub and Seamless work.. They need to get it together.

Non assuming hole in the wall type restaurant. Not that hole in the wall is a bad thing, just know that you’re not coming here for the decor. Having come here multiple times and frequented many other Dominican restaurants I can say the food here is very good. If you’ve had Dominican food before you know that it is well seasoned. I usually order from the ready made food in the front as I’m usually on the go but they do have a la carte if you’re willing to wait, or better yet call for pick up. The amount of food and quality you get is excellent for the price.

Great food the young lady that takes my order on the phone a nice person always gets it right when it’s delivered it’s delivered with great presentation the salad looks fabulous it tastes wonderful but everything that you order they show a nice presentation the amount is very generous the prices are really great but more than anything else these are DR people true DR are cooking the taste fabulous. I’m puerto rican but the Dominican food is a little different than the puerto rican food but it brings home memories of PR and DR when I used to go visit on vacation now I’m an old lady I don’t travel much but going to this restaurant brings back great memories if you have the time pass by you won’t waste your time or your money it’s a great place God-bless all

Good food at a good price. Not very familiar with Dominican food, so don’t know about authenticity. But we wanted to try something new and even my kids who are picky eaters enjoyed it.

Amazing food!! Amazing prices and truly one of the best empanada’s in Jersey City. i drive over from Hoboken to get lunch or dinner for my whole family all the time!! This place is spotless and the cafe con leche I had while I waited for my food the last time was delicious! Awesome old-school Dominican food!
