Like many great places, sometimes you just stumbled upon them. We were visiting a family member in the nearby hospital and were starving. We stopped at the closest place which was Prima Pizza Kitchen. Their pizza has a great crust on the bottom layer, and the top is just cheesy, tomato goodness. We also ordered the ziti and meatballs and the eggplant Parmesan. They were both super delicious and authentic. In addition, the portions were pretty generous. I would highly recommend this place if you like fresh ingredients and really yummy pizza! There are plenty of tables to either eat in or dine out.

My view is you judge a pizza place based on their plain pie but going to go against the grain here. I prefer another local spot if I’m getting plain but really enjoy Primas specialty pies. Vodka pizza (recommend extra sauce, which is easy to request in slice app), drunken grandma and cheesesteak are all excellent. Those are the ones we’ve tried so far, that is. Crust is nice and crispy, and appropriate thickness so the slices aren’t a mess given the toppings. Unsure what they do different for the drunken grandma crust, it seems like they coat the bottom with olive oil before cooking. It’s really good, just a different style than the others we’ve had their. The cheesesteak pie comes with mushrooms but you don’t really taste them; my wife doesn’t like mushrooms but doesn’t mind them here. I recommend adding on banana peppers!

The spicy eggplant marinara is one of the THE. BEST. SLICES. IVE. EVER. HAD. all the flavors are balanced and it’s truly such a delicious slice. Highly recommend this place for pizza and their kitchen dishes! there’s a lot of masculine energy in there but they make a killer slice!

This pizza is AMAZING. I even ate it the next day, cold and it was still so delicious. Hot and fresh pizza is generally pretty good so a true test is cold, out of the fridge the next day. The crust is the perfect thickness to be satisfying, thick enough to hold the pizza that you can grab it and hold with 1 hand but thin enough that you’re not eating all dough. The sauce is rich, flavourful and very garlicky. We got the Sausage and Broccoli Rabe pizza which was so so good. The broccoli rabe was a perfect pairing to the sausage, which was savoury and not too spicy and not too sweet. The Champlain pizza is a winner of the best pizza in central NJ, rightly so and don’t let its simplicity fool you, it highlights the sauce, cheese and crust perfectly. You must try this place.

The cheese pizza was fine however, I will never order their garlic Parma wings again. When they were delivered the paper bag was just a tiny glimpse of the amount of oil that was used. Inside the container it was still dressed in atleast 1/2 cup to a cup of oil. I’m talking about after the removal of the wings from the oil I could have fried my own wings amount.

Moved to the area from Middlesex County a few years back. I live conveniently right down the street from Prima. The food is excellent. I’ve ordered a couple of different pizzas and dinners. Never a complaint. I highly recommend if you’re in the Bridgewater/Somerville area. 5 stars

30 year resident, born and raised in Bridgewater. Jersey is 100% the pizza capital of the states and anyone who says otherwise is either a fraud or just ignorant. Prima’s thin crust plain pie goes toe to toe with the best of them (better than DeLucias imo). Perfect balance between cheese, sauce, and crust. Light yet very tasteful.

Great pizza! Walk up counter service to order then they bring the food to the table. The guy working at night was great, kept checking in on us and making sure everything was out and correct. Will definitely order food from here again but take out, it was a bit warm in there with the ovens on. Ordered their Champlain and vodka margarita pizza, both were DELICIOUS!
