I recently stopped by The Prickly Pear and was blown away by the food. I ordered the mas grande taco plate; one Baja chicken taco and one fresco taco, with a side of fries. They were both exceptionally flavorful and I was especially pleased with the fresco taco, as it’s a great vegetarian option. I also ordered the churros and the horchata bread pudding. One word… amazing. I definitely don’t think anyone would be disappointed stopping by for some great food and some friendly people. They also have live music fairly regularly. Definitely an excuse to stop by.

Stopped in for a bloody Mary one morning. It was good, really spicy. Ended up ordering some food also. Kids loved it. All good!

We were there a few days ago for a wedding rehearsal dinner and had amazing service! The food was delicious and I personally enjoyed the mango margarita very much! There was a live band just outside so you could hear the music. Would definitely recommend the prickly pear!

I had the carne asada street tacos.. they were the best I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten a LOT of street tacos and the queso was absolutely delicious! Well done, very well done!! Hats off to you! Picture on the right is after I polished off the tacos! Rashun is an amazing waiter/server, much appreciated him and his service!

Nice atmosphere, decent food, poor service. Went on a weekend when they had a local band playing outside. There was a mini bar in the outdoor area. Tried to order but was told he only had basic margarita mix and any other drink orders would have to be taken at the indoor bar or by the wait staff. Waited for a few minutes without being helped so went inside. The bar had a hand-written note on notebook paper saying they don’t take walk up orders. So then it’s back outside where we waited for another 15 min or so. Server came by and we tried to order drinks. She seemed upset and asked if we were going to order food. I said that wanted to order drinks first and explained the situation we had run into trying to order. She gave a sigh and at that point we had enough and left. Probably won’t be back in person. Have ordered pickup and delivery from here a few times and food is decent

Slow service. Had to pick up own drink from bar because it sat at end until after appetizer came out and we got tired of waiting. We asked for channel with Chiefs game on. It was ours until some soccer players came in who were friend’s of our server, then the channel suddenly changed to soccer and they ‘lost’ the remote. All that being said the food was very good and when we asked to talk to the manager she listened. I most likely won’t go back for another round but I hope they do some customer service training and the restaurant does well.

Great new addition to downtown Salina. The atmosphere is nice and has a nice overall appeal from the bar to the seating area. I would have liked to see a little different arrangement on the TV’s for better visibility. The food was really good and I thought the rice bowls were better than Qdoba and Chipotle there was flavor, there was good quality cuts of steak, and great amounts of sauteed veggies. The warmth of the dish stayed hot throughout me eating which was a super plus as I like my food hot. The quantity of the food was great. The value wasn’t bad, I would say a little above some of the competition but well worth it. Looking forward to many more visits and the reason why this isn’t a 5 star rating is because they’ve got to add a few more widely loved foods to the menu like waffle fries, chilli cheese fries, sopaipillas, fried cheese etc. So the menu was a little light but what was on it looked delicious. Service was good and we were taken care of during our stay, the one thing that was missed during our order was how we wanted our burger cooked so surprisingly it was well done so we got lucky. We were greeted with a smile, our food was served quickly and correctly, and we were thanked for our business. Overall a great new addition and I can’t wait to visit again for a dinner outting.

Service was good. Food is okay. Glad we have another place to eat. Margarita flight was really good. Disappointed they aren’t doing the mojito flights, even though they are on the menu. Nice place to hang out, especially love Campbell Park right next door.
