Prefix is legitimately the most underrated coffee shop in KC. If you like truly excellent coffee they serve Notion coffee roasters (which is some of the best coffee I’ve ever had) and the baristas really know what they’re doing. Check them out!

Some of the most bitter coffee I have ever tasted and it was lukewarm which is to me is gross. Even the mocha flavoring couldn’t cover up the taste. The decor was cold rather than warm and inviting like you expect from a coffee shop. The tables were dirty and the trash was overflowing. I would not visit again.

Inexpensive food and drinks that are clearly labeled. Interior decorated minimally and it’s spacious, so it was easy to social distance. There’s even a small Christian bookstore inside. Staff were friendly and willing to answer questions. If I’m ever in the area I’d visit again!
