I read the reviews before going and was a little skeptical at first. I decided to go anyway and give it a try. Glad I went. Everything we ordered was good. The Hangry pizza is something we will definitely be back to get. Thr only thing I will say is the friend Green tomato under my grab cake was a little too thick to my liking but still good and the lemon pepper seasoning on the shrimp had just a tad too much for me but still good. So I did not want to give 4 stars since we were happy with our selections. Service was great too! So we will be back!

The server was awesome and so was the food! We never had to ask for refills and even though my kid was acting up she didn’t act annoyed or anything, she just kept making sure we were ok!

Arrived for lunch. Excellent Hawaiian chicken. Salad with incredible vinaigrette dressing. Superb service. Awesome art. Yummy fries. Mahi mahi real good. Grilled chicken portico sandwich very good as well. Lovely interior booth, nice for privacy.

This is the review for a second trip here on Thursday May 11th. After sitting for 30 minutes I decided to walk out due to waiter walking right by me and not even being acknowledged. It wasn’t very busy, I really wanted the fried green tomatoes, guess next time.

Went to Portico for Father’s Day lunch ( Sunday ) with my wife and our two boys aged 8 and 11. Asked to sit near the bar area as they have high top tables within viewing of several TVs and we wanted to watch the PGA US Open of Golf. We were told no and that Only on Sundays they reserve the area for adults only. Just seemed Bass Ackward to me myself and I would think that most establishments would do whatever within reason to make a guest happy. Just my opinion and i am not perfect by any means. For this I leave one star.

It was a Tuesday and they were out of buns. I don’t know what kind of mayonnaise they use but it was awful I don’t know if it was ruined or what but the my food was good but they had that awful mayonnaise on it so I didn’t eat it

Ordered a salad without lettuce just salad toppings only, and they still put lettuce on it. Ordered the chicken pasta and it was plentiful but it barely had any Alfredo sauce on it so it was basically just chicken and pasta. It was dry I could not eat it. Very disappointed because I was looking forward to it.

Lets star off with as soon as you enter they leave you at your table for 10 minutes before they even greet you. The hostess didn’t speak to us at all. But was sure to greet the people behind us. (The were Caucasian, we are not) we ignore it and went about our lunch, waited 15 minutes for beer. Once we got it. They were beyond flat. For a bottle beer to be flat is saying a lot. And after I addressed the issue the I’m guessing owner, was unapologetic and didn’t care as if she knew it was flat and served it anyway. I enjoy making food reviews for different companies but this is a definite 1/10 do not recommend. And yes we still tipped because it’s not the servers fault the establishment doesn’t care.

Dec. 2022 Food was better before, gave 3 for food because the gravy I got with sandwich was horrible. First time in my life I didn’t eat every drop of gravy. I tasted it twice just to check. People I was with enjoy there food but no one raved on how good it was. Large portions and I would not stop going there for food, just a note that maybe management will change or improve it a repeat comment.
