I’ve been visiting Portage Bay for about a decade. Over the years it’s gotten busier and busier and the lines and wait times are lengthier even with reservations. The food is still good but the potatoes aren’t as crispy as they used to be. It’s very noisy inside and outside at all their locations. Service is usually quick for how busy it is.

Great food at reasonable prices. They were busy but sat us very quickly and we never felt rushed. Waiter was attentive without hovering. I got the crab cake Benedict and it was GREAT! The potatoes were seasoned perfectly and everything tasted great together

We came in as a pretty large group with a reservation (which I recommend given how long the lines were when we arrived) and were seated in about 15 minutes after arriving.

Food was good with huge portion size. I might as well rolled myself out because of how full I became.

Prepare to have your taste buds transported to breakfast heaven at Portage Bay Cafe in Seattle, Washington! With an awe-inspiring menu selection, this place truly knows how to pamper your palate. Now, let’s talk about the star of the show—their extraordinary breakfast bar. It’s a cornucopia of culinary wonders, but one dish stole my heart: the Seattle Benedict.

Insane good food with breakfast bar and fresh berries definitely coming back. I had the peach and cream crepes but I liked the pancakes more. Goo

Excellent breakfast spot within walking distance from our Staypineapple Hotel. Food was delicious with filling portions. We had breakfast here on two separate days. I tried the Shakshuka with a side of bacon, and the Huevos Rancheros with a side of sausage. If you’re a spice fan, you must purchase the hot sauces on the tables!

Was my first time in here with some friends and it was a great experience! Despite literally every table being seated and a huge wait (make reservations for sure!), the service was quick and friendly. The menu has quite a bit of variety with relatively decent pricing. The food we got was good and you can tell the ingredients were very fresh. Overall a solid breakfast/brunch joint, especially with it being near UW campus.

This place has super cool vibe and is packed. Thank goodness we made a reservation. The crab cake in eggs Benedict were of really good quality but not sure about the hollandaise sauce. The shakshuka was pretty good too.

Really good pancakes and the berry bar. It’s delicious and worth every penny. I didn’t like their savory dish Migas so I’d recommend sticking with something sweet.
