I had a great meal at HUB Restaurant & Ice Creamery! The atmosphere was lively, and the service was efficient.
I started with a glass of the Sangria Rojo, which was refreshing and a perfect complement to the appetizers. I highly recommend the Prime Rib Fries, they are decadent and delicious, definitely a must-try! I also enjoyed the Buffalo Wings, which had a good kick and were cooked nicely.
Overall, the food and drinks were excellent, and I’ll certainly be back. Four stars because five is perfect, but this place is definitely a favorite!

This restaurant was recommended by the hotel concierge where I stayed during my visit to Tucson for running Garmin marathon.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of both food and the service in this small little town. They served one of the best fish and chips I ever had. Fish was of the highest quality.

idk if it’s the demographic of people that this restaurant is catered for but their food is the most tasteless gulag slop i’ve ever had. save the $80 dollars and get some fast food that’s gonna taste better then whatever they’re serving. also not to bash on the waiter but no one wants to be left unattended waiting to be checked out for 20 mins. also if servers have to put on a fake smile so should management. you guys look like soulless people who hate their jobs, made me scared to even ask for some boxes lol. place was cute tho!!

I don’t go to The Hub very often but when I do I am reminded why I like this place so much.
I came here for my birthday dinner by reservation.

Depending on the vibe you are going for this is a pretty classy place.
The ambiance is very much on the chill side.
The lighting isn’t overwhelming and bright. The view to the outside is beautiful as you can see downtown and the greenery outside.

The food was spectacular! Made perfectly and absolutely delicious.
Everything was made as ordered and flavorful.

This was an overall great visit and place to eat with friends.

I visited The Hub Restaurant & Ice Creamery on a quiet Wednesday night (3/5/25), and while the experience had its highs and lows, it was overall a decent outing.

Starting with the service—it was good. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure everything was taken care of. However, the food itself was a bit underwhelming. I tried the Prime Rib Fries, and while the portion was fair, the meat was slightly dry. The cheese sauce, unfortunately, had seized up under the heat lamp, likely due to the slower night. The Buffalo Wings were at least served warmer and had a standard flavor you’d expect at most places offering wings, but nothing particularly stood out.

What did stand out was the ambience. The mix of exposed brick and modern design gave the restaurant a stylish yet comfortable feel, making it a great spot to relax in downtown Tucson.

Overall, The Hub delivers a nice setting and solid service, but the food could use a little more attention—especially when it’s not busy. I’d be open to giving it another try, maybe on a busier night when everything is fresher.

Had the Urban burger and a Wrenovation both were great! Burger was well sized and perfectly cooked. The IPA was a fine example of the West Coast variety – crisp, clean and just the right amount of hops. Service was impeccable. Strongly recommend.

Valentines event was an absolute cash grab. Reserved a table two weeks ahead, there was no indication it was an outdoor table. When we arrived got seated outside, complained they let us know they’d see what they can do, but service was already really slow so decided to just sit outside. The waitress came and did a lovely job for a clearly overbooked event, she was very apologetic and did her best. Appetizers were good, but because we were outside the soup got really cold fast. Got filet mignon and lobster tails for the main, Ive never seen a “filet mignon” with so much fat cap and gristle, it was tender and cooked to temperature, but clearly a cheaper cut of meat. Lobster tails were good, but the rice had a weird after taste like dirty dish water. Deserts were supposed to be a take on ferero rocher candy and a red velvet cake. The ferero rocher was chocolate mousse with dense chocolate shell 0 hazelnut flavor. Red velvet didn’t taste like cream cheese at all and had a weird boozy(wine I think?) jello layer on top. Was really disappointing.

First night officially open! Valentine’s Day! Great unique menu. We both went Sea Bass! Most wise decision! Amazing. Had appetizer clam chowder soup and shrimp, Desert Lemon curd tart and strawberry cheese cake. Yummy. Did the Custom cocktails too. Very fun outdoor dining experience. Ed was a good server. Manager checked in too! Highly recommend giving the Hub a try.
