The food at this location is To Die For – Great! I’ve Never had better food at ANY Popeye’s Chicken quite like this Leander, TX location!! I actually have a renewed love for Popeye’s. I’m a foodie and I cook a lot and know great food! They put a Lot of Love into their food! I was impressed how the chicken was laid out so nicely where I could see what I was getting! I met the manager, Erik, and told him the same! He’s a cheerful guy who obviously loves his job and serving others! When I first came in he met me with a smile and made me feel welcomed! He was working the drive-thru, but let me know he would be right with me. It’s Worth the Drive to come here!

I’ve been here 3 times, twice my order was wrong. I wanted to try the new bacon and cheese chicken sandwich. I get home and there’s no cheese nor bacon on my sandwich, This was on 8/18 around 2:30pm. And the Mac and cheese was mush.

Two years ago I drove through the georgetown location on 29. The food was nearly inedible. Chicken was way overcooked. I complained to management there and after several exasperating back and forth communications by email they finally gave me credit but only through their app which I had to download. Well the credit lasted only 6 months then disappeared. WTH?

Stopped in for lunch; was craving a chicken sandwich. Service was super slow with several customers waiting in line that never moved. I waited thirty minutes, line never moved and I was never waited on. My wife and I left and went next door to Wendy’s where there was adequate staffing and we were immediately assisted with our order.
