The service is always fast and friendly. The food is always good as are the margaritas. I usually get the seafood burrito and always enjoy it. They added a robot to deliver the food it’s really cute. You’ve got to go. You’ll love it.

I love this location in Germantown. Near shopping and you can eat in the same area. The food is not as good as it used to be, though, and neither are the portions. Our server did not have a handle on the English language and messed up our order, and we had to ask another server to send him to our table to pay our bill. The robot server is a nice touch. Hopefully, they will address the decline in the quality and quantity of food.

The chips were oil logged and the salsa was bland which was the foreshadowing of the entrees to come. Both my wife and daughters quesadillas were smothered in cooking oil to the point where they could only eat the chicken inside. My steak tacos were drier than the Sahara, and the only thing to help get it down was some strange (and yet again bland) mango salsa.

Great place! I always have a good experience here. The food is well made and the service is excellent. I ordered the super chimichanga which was delicious. My only suggestion for El Porton is to turn down the music on the robot waiter. It is very loud for the atmosphere.

Y’all got a robot?! What the heck?! WHY!! This place used to be so lively and flavorful. I worked here for some years in the early 2000s and it was always a party! Now the salsa is like watery tomato juice with no spice or real taste. Queso has gotten thin too. And the sky surf and turf only had 2 scrimp in it last week! But I’ll still always eat some ELpo❤️

Doesn’t feel real authentic when you look at the menu, but the food was tasty enough. Weird that the “specialties” don’t come with rice and beans, you have to order those separately. They do participate in Delta Dining-for-miles so that’s a plus!
