I ordered for my family and was told it would take 15 mins for my wings. I pulled forward to wait for 30 mins when someone finally came out and told me my food was given to someone else and asked if I saw who. Then for another person to come out and say they were going to make it right. When they brought food out and confirmed the order they still messed it up and shorted me on tenders and told me if I wanted to wait another 15 mins I could get but don’t worry they gave me 5 extra biscuits. Asked for honey butter and ranch and they were out. Came home to find out I was actually shorted tenders and sides. Our food was awful. Chicken seemed old. It’s not worth me driving back across town tonight to be disappointed again. Truly let down

Went through the drive through, 1 car was ahead of me and they took their order and they pulled forward, so I moved up so I could place my order and the worker told me it would be a minute before they could take my order so I waited and placed my order and I wanted 1 strawberry biscuit but said he was out of them so I was like okay, ordered Dr Pepper for my drink and just ran out so I got sweet tea, so gave me my total and to pull up to the window, well the car that was in front of me had got their order. So why couldn’t you have took my order and kept the line moving so orders would go out faster than waiting til 1 persons order is done before taking someone else’s order????? So I paid and waited for my food , when I got the order I didn’t get a biscuit that came with the combo meal so the worker could’ve told me they were out of all biscuits instead of just saying out of the strawberry biscuits and I didn’t get any silverware to eat my mashed potatoes and gravy plus no napkins were in the sack either!

We received a delivery order. Multiple things on the order were incorrect. The rice was hard an inedible and the order looked like it was thrown together. We had a $58 family order and we ended up eating something else. When I contacted their customer service, they offered a small chicken sandwich to make up for the food quality issues.

It’s always so disappointing. Love their food but you always have to wait a minimum of ten, usually fifteen minutes for any chicken. KFC you don’t wait. They need to learn how to rotate. It’s like Amy other fast food place. Sad. I would come here so much more. They’re usually out of a lot of their aides except fries too, like completely out which is what makes them unique. They’ve never apologized or offered anything to make up for their shortcomings. I still come back cuz the food is just so great and I used to live in Louisiana so it’s nostalgic for me.

Got 4 of the new Strawberry biscuits. Unfortunately they over microwaved them and was hard as a brick. They were understaffed and super busy. Chicken was awesome. I ordered mashed potatoes and red beans and rice, I got two red beans and rice instead. Popeyes is solid, I’ll continue to eat there despite low review.

Terrible customer service. Terrible food handling and storage. The health inspector should drop by. Arrived at 8:22 and ordered. Waited 31 minutes to receive part of our order. After watching a guy drop tongs on the ground, pick them up and handle food with it….. we just walked out. They asked if we would wait for the blackened chicken. I said no thank you. No telling where the tongs have been. Didn’t feel well the rest of the night. This is the last Popeyes for me period……

If you wait more than 30 minutes, you may be able to find out if the food is good. The slowest restaurants in Springfield are Popeyes. Some even run out of food.

Terrible customer service. The staff acted like they had a problem with anyone ordering anything from the menu, very unkind attitude, the lady working the window/orders was playing on her phone while we waited for her to take our payment despite several cars behind us, choose our sauces, didn’t ask us what sides, gave very skimpy portions for a family meal, didn’t give us what we ordered and when we went back to get the correct order they didn’t acknowledge us or apologize and acted like it was our fault they gave us the incorrect order. The food was cold, dry, chewy and tasted old.

AWFUL experience here today. I ordered 2 5pc tender meals (12:14pm), after getting my drinks and paying the window cashier asked me to pull forward because they needed more time making the tenders. After 10 minutes of waiting and multiple cars getting their food and leaving, I finally called the location (12:25pm) to remind them I was still waiting. The employee said they would “come right out” but it was another 9 minutes before someone came out with our food. She apologized for the wait but I then had to remind her we needed straws and sauces. When she went back inside for the forgotten items I checked our food and found 2 boxes of burnt, dried out food. Even the fries were bad. I showed the employee when she came back and she said “that is just how our cook makes it”. Total BS. I waited 19 minutes and paid $18 for basically biscuits and drinks. An email was sent to corporate but no response yet.
