Went to get the Fnaf meal that comes with garlic Parm, chicken tenders and cheesy bites instead I got a cluster of the breading with some cheese and tenders with one side coded in the Garlic Parm and the other completely not. Went back in to ask if this was the way the cheeses bites were supposed to look and they said “yes” absolutely ridiculous i was looking forward to it sand now Im just disappointed

Ordered the 3 PC combo and upgraded to white meat. Received 2 wings and what I thought was a breast but not much white meat in there and rib bones…maybe a mis-cut peice…I’m not a chicken expert. All I know for $14 meal felt hungry after so I decided to buy an actual breast. When the same lady helped me at the checkout I told her about my meal and she gave me a breast, and refused to charge me for it. I feel like I got my money’s worth now!

I’m giving this location one star because every time I’ve visited in the evening, the experience has been consistently bad. The drive-thru wait is always excessive—typically 20–30 minutes. On one occasion, I waited close to an hour and still had to go inside just to remind them that I had been waiting and had not received my food.
I’m not sure if the store is short-staffed or dealing with management issues, but something is clearly not working. During my most recent visit, I placed an online order 20–25 minutes before arriving and still had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my food. Even then, my red beans and rice were missing. At that time, there was only one car in the drive-thru and one customer inside waiting, so volume was not the issue.
This has happened on four separate occasions, and something is forgotten almost every time. As someone with seven years of fast-food management experience, I strongly believe deployment and night-shift staffing need to be assessed and adjusted. Unfortunately, this location has become consistently unreliable, and it’s disappointing every time I give it another chance.

I like to get to Popeyes at 10 am when they open, as I love my food super hot and fresh. Straight out of the cooker is best!! People were friendly today, and the lady even brought the food out to my table. Great Service!! My favorite is the Spicy bird, and the taters with gravy is just awesome! However, I don’t have kids to go with me, but I always notice that the high chairs never seem to be cleaned. I was the first one in today, as usual when I go, so it is the night shift not doing a good cleaning job of the dining area. I enjoyed it so much today, I am going back tomorrow and gonna do it again!!

I ordered online. The food was ready when I got there and it was very hot and fresh. My opinion this is the best Popeyes in Evansville. The one on First Ave is not that great. The chicken was stale and tough.

This was my first experience here, In Louisville When you purchase the $5 box you get three pieces of chicken and a biscuit. Apparently not in Evansville – or else Louisville just loves me more My original chicken was awesome huge pieces More than I could eat actually, unfortunately my sons spicy chicken looked like half a thigh a leg and a wing. I get that with machines cutting up the chicken before it ever gets to the store this is occasionally going to happen – but FFS if you have two orders that are the same except for spice level one should not look big enough to feed a family and the other look like it’s already been eaten. I ended up buying a three-piece box with sides and a drink on top of the two $5 boxes I had already bought. It would have cost me less if I bought the $20 9 piece family box with large side and four biscuits. I’d have gotten more biscuits And saved $8.
That said, the cashier was very nice the woman who was boxing up our meals was very nice apart from the whole chicken parity kerfuffle. And the store was very clean. The dining room ice machine was not working but the cashier was more than happy to go to the drive-thru ice machine and get ice for me.

I love popeyes however this location is one of the worst. My uber eats only allows me to order from this location they’ve got my order wrong 4 out of the 5 times I’ve gotten them delivered. I’m not a harsh critic. The first time I brushed it off because they could’ve been busy or short staffed 2nd time it happened again food was incorrect and my tenders were burnt 3rd time I order and again did not receive all my items correct. I even gave them grace and ordered again that same day because I didn’t want to complain just wanted my food unfortunately even that order was incorrect. This last time they finally got my order correct but my food was burnt and sweet tea was watered down 🙁 never again. They’ve proven to be consistently disappointing.

Well, went back to Popeye’s and didn’t have quite the good tme we had the first time. Wife wanted Hush puppy shrimp that was on the sign outside and on the sign inside the restaurant. She was informed they no longer carry that even though it’s still being advertised, so she went for a 3 piece white meat dinner which included a breast and 2 wings. She was informed after she ordered that they don’t have any breast meat up and it would be 12 minutes so she ended up with 4 wings. They said if it came up and we were still there they would bring the breast out to her and we were there and they did not do that. To backup a bit we walked in the restaurant and the counter gal was at the counter doing something and it took her forever to decide to stop doing it and wait on us. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with fries that chicken sandwich was great but the fries were chewy and cold. We just did not have a good experience this time, 2 stars.

My wife and I had not been to Popeye’s for some time, thought we would check it out, once again. My wife ordered chicken tenders with a Blackened Ranch dip. As her sides, she ordered coleslaw and Cajun fries. I tasted her coleslaw and we both agreed that it is some of the best coleslaw we’ve had in quite a while, it is cream based. The Cajun fries were spiced just right. They get cold quickly, they’re small and thin fries, but worth the price. We did have to ask for ketchup and I had to go back to the counter to get the ranch dip that they were supposed to put in the bag.
I ordered a Spicy Chicken sandwich combo, comes with a side and drink. The chicken sandwich was indeed spicy. I loved the taste and the heat, it was a combination of ranch and Buffalo sauce, I think. But it was quite spicy, to my liking. The chicken was not quite as big as you see on TV, that thing on TV is huge, but it was quite a good sized piece of white meat. I enjoyed the sandwich quite a bit. For a side I ordered the Red Beans and Rice. They were nothing to shout about, they were OK, barely. Everything was quite good except for the Red Beans and Rice. They basically tasted like black beams with rice in them. I’ve had Red Beans and Rice in New Orleans, so I guess I’m spoiled.
Everything else is quite good. I give them a strong 4 stars.

I was deeply disappointed by the Lack of Inclusivity. I observed a clear Disparity in Treatment based on race. It is vital for a business to provide a Professional Environment for all patrons, and unfortunately, that was not the case here due to Discriminatory Behavior.

Just shut it down. Dining room is disgusting. Not a single table clean. All have something on them. Dining room floor was sticky. Employees are not welcoming in the slightest. They seem irritated you’re even there. Chicken was dry and obviously had set under the heat lamp for some time. I had decided to give it one last chance. I will not be going back, and I strongly urge anyone considering to go to KFC, or the grocery for fried chicken. Fast food or not. This place is a joke.
