So I went to this location on Ronald Reagan because it was getting late for dinner and it was my turn tonight(mind you, I love leaving positive reviews such as I did a year ago per the 4th pic). I came in and ordered 5 different $6 Big Box’s (2 with Tenders and 3 with Chicken). The young man at the register was polite and took the order correctly and read it back to me. After paying for it he advised they were out of spicy breast and legs and it would 12 minutes so I opted to wait. He offered me a drink for the wait which was appreciated. Once the chicken was finally done i checked all the boxes but apparently not well enough. One box of the tenders had double fries and he explained the tenders he went under the fries (the other orders had fries, Cajun rice and coleslaw all in a separate bag but counted for. I get home and went to put the fries in the fryer and what to my surprise but the tenders order with double fries had some stale, dried up tenders and the other order were big and fresh (see comparison pic below). Also none of the orders had biscuits in them! So I called the location 7 times to speak to the manager. We finally got hold of someone and asked for the manager and we heard the manager in the background say 1 minute, then 5 minutes….we held for 20 minutes hearing everything in the background (see pic below). We finally hung up. We will either go back this evening or tomorrow and share this review with them as well. Always something….

I feel like giving this particular Popeyes a bone (pun intended) just to offset some of these 1 star reviews. Ordered a tenders meal for drive-thru on 1/24/26 in the evening and other than the food not being as warm as I’d like, it was made well and tasted good too. Including the very tasty premium lemonade…recommended! The food was sealed, too. The drive thru lady that took and handed my order was very pleasant in both tone and demeanor. Just a good vibe which compelled me to leave this positive review. The quality of your employees matter. Take note corporate.

Visited this location on 2/23 and went through the drive-thru asking about the 3-piece for $5 deal, and the young man told me the promotion was no longer available. Because of that, I left and drove to the Pleasant Hill location, where they did have the deal and confirmed that it has not ended. It’s also clearly still listed on the Popeyes website.
This was a complete waste of my time and gas. Employees should be trained to verify information before telling customers something that isn’t true. If you’re not sure about a promotion, ASK someone instead of giving the wrong answer. It’s really that simple.
Very disappointing experience and poor communication from staff. Do better

I ordered through the drive thru. I get home, food was dry, had missing items & no receipt was given. Yes I can take accountability for not checking Prior to leaving the restaurant. Anyway I call the restaurant to voice my concerns. I told them, unfortunately I couldn’t make it to the store because I live about 20 minutes away. Instead of the manager, offering to make things right, they told me to bring them a receipt that wasn’t even given to me. When I told them they didn’t give me a receipt, they told me to bring the food… the next day? I hung up the phone and told them to forget about it

Asked for the 10 piece family meal and was very dissatisfied. The chicken looked like it was fried in some old burnt grease. It wasn’t crispy at all. Tried to call for a refund but they never answered.

Dry biscuit that I had to drive back for. Apparently this location is gate keeping the Cajun rice. Never had a problem getting Cajun rice and beans before. Looks like they’re saving it all for themselves the first picture is with no by taking out of it. I go inside and ask for more red beans and rice because the container is less than half full and I receive all of the rights that you see very minimal beans

It’s been 5yrs. since I last visited and reviewed this Popeye’s due to really bad food and service, but I recently saw a review that this location was under new management so I thought I’d give them a try again. Today’s experience was much different than my last. This time I was greeted by the cashier, I saw the 4 employees behind the counter all working, there was plenty of chicken in the warming trays and it all looked freshly cooked. I ordered the Big Box which consisted of two pieces of chicken, a biscuit and two sides. I requested two thighs (with no problem or the cashier telling me I’d have to pay extra), mashed potatoes and coleslaw and a Cinnamon Apple Pie. I was in and out the door with my order in less than 10min. The order was correct, the chicken (although the thighs have gotten smaller in size) was good and hot, the two sides were good and the apple pie was good as well. Behind the counter and the interior dining area were both very clean. With the food and good service I received today I’d definitely return to Popeye’s Snellville location again.

Visited on 12/21/25. Terrible service. 2 different managers on that day and the last manager on that shift WAS RUDE AS HELL. Waited over an hour for 10 pieces dark meat spicy chicken where our order was forgotten and never packed until one of the employees noticed after his 30 minute break. We requested dark meat and manager became very sassy and nasty saying we cannot get all dark meat because we used coupons. She ended up putting our biscuits mixed in the chicken box and that should have been separated. And the mashed potatoes sides were scooped in the containers sitting for a long time tasting horrid. Beyond disappointed.

First time going to this location. Drive thru and was parked for over 15 minutes. Walked by another person who was parked and they said they had been waiting for 30 mininutes and they told him they were out of sandwiches. went inside and it was very chaotic. Person told me that it might be a long wait. Asked to chose something they had ready. Person cane over to me and had part of my order and after checking with drive thru found other part of my order. My total time there was close to 45 min.
Got home and of course was shorted food. Will not be going back. Awful service.
