Had a Great meal here with my husband. The food and service was wonderful. Everything was cooked perfect with so much juicy goodness. The service was so friendly. The place was very clean. This young lady tended to the buffet the whole time we were there. She made sure it was clean and top notch! Thank you, we will be back!

My wife and I went to Pop Bellies Country Buffet this past Saturday for our 37th anniversary and it was absolutely terrific. The food, staff, and atmosphere was worth the hour long drive. We will be going again. Anyone and everyone that can, take a drive to Pop Bellies in Waycross, GA. It is worth it. The owner is there and the staff make you feel at home. Seafood weekends and also country cooking for ones that do not eat seafood. Love it, love it, love it.

The people here are absolutely amazing as well as some of the best food I have ever had. They are buffet style or by the pound I tried just about everything in the buffet line from the rice and tomatoes, baked beans, chicken, there Cole slaw is nothing like I have ever tasted. The slaw has a sweet taste to it and is nothing like traditional but the best I have ever had. The peach cobbler for desert was to die for. The people, food and what they do for the community and the cost make this one of my favorite and new top destinations to visit since moving to South Georgia. Thank you, Pop Bellies for being the example and model of what all restaurants should strive for. See you soon!

The chicken wasn’t fully cooked, the skin was cooked but inside pink,no pork chops refresh they were just two when we got there and no more was put out. The gravy was like water. The cream potatoes were like glue, the cabbage was very good and the salad bar was very good and the macronie salad was good.sorry about the misspelling. The people who were there was eating mostly just the meat like pork chops so other people didn’t have a chance they were wiping them out faster than they could cook them and and at lunch time$5.49 and your wiping out all the meat especially pork chops, that gets expensive even for a restaurant. People take advantage of little buffet restaurant’s. They can’t stay in business long at that rate and keep prices that low for lunch. Here’s my advice to Pop Bellies country Buffet raise your price for lunch. You know the regular people coming in and what they are aiming for , just the meat. Raise your price.

First time visiting and I will be back! We had my nephew with us that is picky. I walked in to check the menu and see if they had hamburgers (they don’t, only buffet) the owner told me they didn’t but to have a seat and he would fix us up. My nephew had 2 hamburgers and French fries, freshly cooked by the owner! I can’t brag on this establishment enough!

This is a very nice family owned buffet. The owners and their children were as friendly as can be The place is somewhat small but was clean and the food was not bad. My son and I went for the Saturday night seafood buffet. We didn’t find out until the end that they had steamed oysters but you have to ask for those…they don’t keep them on the line. We will go back and encourage people to help support a great little family owned business.

This place is extraordinary!!! I have never felt so welcomed and appreciated for coming to eat somewhere! This place is 100% where EVERY company needs to go to learn how to treat a customer!! Now let’s talk food. If you like home cooked, southern, comfort food with the ability to eat all u want…THIS PLACE IS IT!!! They make food like your mama and grandma used to make. Food that brings back memories from when u were a kid! I absolutely believe that u should go here and eat, as they also help the people down on their luck after hours, so people don’t go hungry and food doesn’t go to waste. They are an awesome group of individuals!! We loved our experience ❤ ♥

The owner is fantastic, he was bringing out food and waiting on customers, not to many owners will do stuff like that, Pot Bellies is a great place to eat and it’s reasonable, I will be coming back and bring my family with me again, love it !!!!
