Excellent, authentic, wonderful service. We were visiting Baton Rouge for the first time and got the authentic local food experience. Crawfish, catfish, oysters, shrimp, fried pickles, poboy sandwiches, all of it was delicious. The people working here were super friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed the cajun food here. Not a poboy fan but they have plenty to choose from. We had to try the gator sausage bites. Wow. Salty and fatty! Of course, that makes them tasty! Had to do the crawfish etouffee and catfish plate. The etouffee was great.

We stop for an afternoon snack and a few beers. Service was friendly and apps came out very quickly. We were hoping for some boudin balls but they just sold out. We got the sausage and fried pickles. Both were great!

My husband and I enjoyed the fried shrimps crispy, tender and tasty, fries were just the we like them fresh and authentic, The oyster poboy was the best fried just right fresh crisp and soft, onion rings were good ! The cup of gumbo was tasty but room temperature luke warm could’ve been much warmer. Definitely will be going back !!!

We enjoy this restaurant very much! We are locals and frequent this restaurant at least twice a month. The servers are very friendly, know our preferences, and make sure that our meal is always provided to our liking, whether poboys or seafood platters. Everything is delicious! This family-owned and family-run “mom and pop” restaurant is definitely a favorite of ours!

Great place for some Louisiana style food. So if you’re looking for crawfish, oysters, shrimp, catfish, etc. This is it. Friendly and attentive staff. You can tell the folks in the kitchen take pride in what they do. Would gladly visit again.

So definitely not a place to go if you want southern hospitality. We ordered a poboy and a red bean plate, not precisely complicated. It took over 30 minutes, and 5 tables that came in after us were served first. When we asked to just have it changed to go, after 30 minutes, it still took another 5. The older “gentleman” at the till was rude and aggressive and despite holding our payment in his hand accused us of trying to leave without paying. Seriously rude, slow, and frankly there’s much better food in this town, don’t waste your time.
