The staff was helpful and expedient. The food was awesome. The steak tacos with rice and beans and the steak quesadilla was what we ordered. Make sure to ask for the house made hot sauces, the green one is spicier but they are both excellent. I would highly recommend giving this place a visit and don’t forget to order your Coke that is made in Mexico!

Humble appearing restaurant, amazing food, friendly and attentive service. We had the chicken tacos, steak (asada) tacos, fish tacos, shrimp tacos, chorizo tacos, wet burrito, torta, rice, beans, guacamole, salsa, and chips. All was very good! We’ll definitely be back!

For me Poncho’s Tacos provides an average dining experience warranting a 3 out of 5 stars. The menu offers a range of taco selections, though the flavor didn’t quite meet expectations. While the ambiance was pretty enjoyable, the service could have been more attentive. Notably, there was an issue with my order being incorrect after placing it over the phone. Portion sizes seemed a bit small for the price, which was a downside. With some improvements in taste and service, Poncho’s Tacos could easily improve their rating in the future.

I had the chorizo quesadilla, and my wife had the taco platter. We absolutely loved our meal as well as the service. Chips and salsa with every meal was a nice added bonus. Couldn’t be happier with ponchos, and a welcome addition to the south side of Grand Rapids

Very little place with probably the best Mexican food I’ve had. They started us with chips and salsa. The taco’s were fantastic and filling. More food than one guy needs. My lunch came with rice, beans a grilled chilli pepper, 3 lime slices 3 steak tacos. Not beef burger but tender steak and sauteed onions. Topped with one of 2 house made sauces. Now for the price. $9.99 plus tax. How can you go wrong. I will definitely be ordering from here again. Thank you poncho’s

My family tried the steak, shredded chicken, pastor pork and chicken. All were fantastic. The pastor pork and shredded chicken were the best. The shredded chicken and green sauce were definitely spicy. I would recommend these authentic tacos.

I travel a lot for work and it always try to find those little places that make a neighborhood special. This is definitely one of those places and I’m so glad I made a trip to try it. I got the popular $9.99 Taco trio combo that comes with delicious rice and refried beans. I got the pastor and it was right up there with the best I’ve had. Also, as a nice bonus there was a tasty roasted hot pepper and some fresh lime for the tacos. The accounting homemade hot and mild sauces were top notch and I ate all of them. The chips and salsa satisfied for a nice cool down after the hot green sauce. If you’re any where near this or there other location, I would definitely make a trip, if you’re in a hurry though, order ahead. The lunch line can be very long.

I ordered an asada (steak) wet burrito for lunch. It came with complimentary chips and salsa. The burrito was huge and delicious!

I originally gave this place a very good review. I just made a to go order of two tacos. When I showed up to pick it up, I found out I had accidentally called the wrong location. The woman working at the division location was rude rt off the bat, and refused to make anything. I called the other location the woman there was nice and understanding. Not the case at division. I will never be back to that location and I suggest everyone else do the same. Even dining in the service is slow and neglectfully. I’ve been in the restaurant industry and know that take outistakes do cost money, but it happens. If 2 tacos is gonna make you act like the end of the world, maybe u should close down.
