This place is soooo good! And an easy walk from my house in Jackson Ward. It’s like a Subway style poke place where it’s made right in front of you. The price is right and the ingredients are very fresh. I like the create your own with so many options to choose from.

It was not crowded at dinner time on Sunday despite being near VCU. The bowl felt somewhat overpriced given the very little protein and overall bowl size. I got the standard salmon and tuna and there were maybe 3 bites of salmon. If you need a filling meal, add a third protein at a cost. The fish quality was okay. There are many mix-ins and toppings to select. This is a good spot when you need something quickly. I probably would not rush back but don’t know of other poke options in Richmond.

Just want to shout out this great staff – my Uber Eats order was delivered and while walking back to my office my bag broke and the food unfortunately scattered across the sidewalk. My wife and I got bowls here right before they were going to close, and the staff were still very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, they had forgotten to give us a drink and a protein item for one of our bowls which we didn’t notice until we were already back at our hotel. When I called them, they offered to make it right the next time we came in and they were absolutely true to their word. The same gentleman I spoke to on the phone made us a complimentary drink, and was very accommodating and apologetic the next time we came in. This place is doing it right, the staff are well trained, the ingredients are fresh, and all of the calorie information is listed.

Absolutely great food! Love the poke bowls and I don’t see many of them around. If you’ve never had it I suggest you try it. If you like sushi them I very strongly suggest you try these bowls. They’re fantastic and from what I understand they’re healthy
