I come from a Mexican family, and don’t eat Mexican out that often since I usually feel I can get the best at my Mama’s. I’ve been to Pocos twice now, and it was delicious! I was feeling brave and ordered the Mole…something I usually only eat of my Mama’s…and theirs was exceptional. In fact, I’ll have to take her there so she won’t have to do all the work next time to have one of our favorites!

The food was incredible. Service was great. My wife and I have been driving past this restaurant for several years and always wanted to try it. Now that we have, we can’t believe we waited so long. I highly recommend the puffed fish tacos. The owner, Claudia, came over and had a nice conversation with us. We will definitely be back. Simply one of the best in town.

Just got back from Poco’s. Excellent Service, friendly, nice, and our server definitely knew the menu, even had a recommendation that my girlfriend decided to change her mind to, that was excellent – the Grande Burrito – Pork w/ red sauce. Yum. Seriously.

I had never heard of Poco’s until I heard Restaurant Impossible did a make over. I decided to try it out with friends. I have actually been there 3 times since. The first time we were the only customers. This is the first Mexican Restaurant that I have had to buy chips and salsa. I don’t know if they were any good because we opted not to get them. The waitress didn’t have a clue about what was on the menu. (A definite no no for Robert Irvine!) But we chalked the poor service up to the new menu. I had chicken fajitas, which were pretty good – except you get plenty of chicken, peppers and onions – very skimpy on the pico de gallo, guacomole. Only two small tortillas.I had to eat most of it with a fork because there weren’t enough tortillas. I went back a second time – a different waiter – but much worse service. They didn’t know the menu either. While we were there the staff had a pizza delivered and proceeded to eat at the counter in between waiting on customers. Not a good sign when the staff doesn’t eat their own food. Believe it or not – I went back a third time. Co-workers wanted to try it out for lunch. Again very bad service. My co-workers were really disappointed in their food. This time the staff was eating Burger King. It took 30 minutes to pay our bill. If this restaurant is going to succeed it really needs to invest in a staff that cares. I don’t think they learned a thing from Robert Irvine.

The Mexican style breakfasts at this joint are top notch. If you want a nice breakfast that goes beyond what you can find at IHOP, this is the place to be.
