I’ve never been in this establishment before, but today I stopped in for a quick fix to get my stomach off my back… Mike and Taco helped me decide on the Giro combo. It came with fries and a bottle of water (you can choose from any other beverage/ or soda), but for $10.00 it was more than enough ~ I’m full, and other than the fries it was pretty healthy. Plates are OK at best. Mac salad was pretty good, homefries were the usual frozen then deep fried that were all used to. Hot sauce was nothing to write home about but generally inoffensive. Cheeseburger was fine. The real offender was the hot dog. If you’re going to have a plate in Rochester then you have to use Zweigle’s or at least something comparable ie. Sahlen’s or Hoffman’s. The ones they used on their plate were at best comparable with the nasty Bar-S hot dogs you find at the dollar store; skinny, sweaty, tough, and no real flavor besides salty and fake smoke flavoring. If you’re hammered and don’t care then they’re probably an OK choice but if your looking for a real plate that will sate that craving then there are definatly better options out there.

This is a hidden gem in Irondequoit. In my humble opinion, this is the best plate in town. Mac Salad is perfect, burgers are perfect, meat hot is a perfect blend. 5stars all the way around!
