This was on our list to try so we went for the lunch buffet today. I thought it to be a little disappointing. Doesn’t seem like the right setup for a buffet: The salad bar was basic and the 6 pizzas they had out all looked the same. We requested a taco pizza and it took 30 min to come out. Neither the food or service were horrible but not sure it matched the price.

We love Pizza West! They have a perfect salad bar and pizza buffet! The soup of the day was hot and delicious. Grant was great! He provided excellent service, great conversation, and asked if we wanted a specific type of pizza to be made for the buffet. We absolutely love the food, service, and atmosphere!

Their customer service is great everyone is super super nice, and bonus they did not mind my picky order. Try the honey on your pizza if you haven’t It’s the best! I’ve come here for 10 years and it’s still just as good as it was 10 years ago.

I might be bias to having pizzas from Italy and always wonder why Pizza in America cannot seem to be up to the taste and standard of real tasteful Italian pizza. The dough is the number one downfall here. No olive oil!! Not cooked thoroughly, still tasted raw dough when chewing. We selected the K7 combo, the green pepper was also raw, no true oven heat to the pizza. The buffet was not everyday for dinner, only two nights. We came to try out the buffet on Friday But felt it was not accurately claimed to appear daily for dinner.

Used to love the pizza… Last couple of times it was just OK. Tonight we ordered pizza for the Chiefs game and when we opened the box I was shocked at the crust being burnt. I personally cannot stand anything burnt. I just don’t understand how any establishment would burn the food and still give it to the customer. “Well I screwed that up but oh well they can eat it anyway.” I understand people make mistakes but it should have been fixed instead of given to a customer as is. If the person cooking the pizza thought it was good to go then that’s a problem in itself. We called and requested a refund. They refunded but now we have no edible pizza for the game and we didn’t want to drive back to get one in the middle of the game. Very disappointed. I gave 2 stars because it has been good in the past. If this was our only experience, it would be 1 star. Pizza West is very pricey compared to all other pizza places around us and they really dropped the ball. I would understand this type of situation from a cheap pizza place.

First time I ate here. It’s a bit of wait for the food to cook but it’s worth every second. Every item in my lasagna is fresh you can the flavor. It is a must go to when your in Shawnee.

We have been ordering Pizza West for years and the pizza is amazing. And so is the service . But about 40% of the time the order is wrong or the pizza is over cooked. Today it was wrong AND overcooked. She read the order back to me three times . I have never given a review before, however hoping this will improve things. Very frustrating.

We went there on Saturday for the buy 2 pizzas and get cheese bread for free. We didn’t have to wait to be seated. The waiter was very attentive. At the booths you have your own tv to watch while waiting. If you have children they have a remote at booth, so you can keep the young ones occupied while waiting for the pizza. We had the K-7 and Masterpizzia both were cook great and tasted great. The next day we had the leftovers and they still tasted great if you eat it cold or microwave it. Great place to eat!!

Lived in the area for 2+ years and never tried it until last night. Pizza was mediocre at best & way overpriced for what you get. Won’t be back..can get the same pizza at Walmart for 1/4 of the price. Service was great though!

Diamond in the rough kinda place!!! If you’ve never been there, you need to make it a point to get in there soon and try it out!!! Great location off of K-7 and Johnson Dr. Easily the best pizza buffet I’ve been to in years, constantly bringing out new pizzas and rotating out the old ones! Good looking salad bar!! Back party room adds lots of additional space with a mini arcade area. Patio area for the nice days!! Will definitely be going back, quality of pizza was up there with the best of the best!!
