Stopped by on a trip from Michigan to harrisburg. When I tell you it was worth the traffic to stop and sit for a good meal, that is an under statement. The food was amazing. Had brisket, pulled pork and the ribs. All were awesome. The sides (mac and cheese, baked beans, greens and corn bread) all complimented the meat well. Everything was amazing. Stop by and check them out if you’re in the area

I stopped by on the way to a concert in New Kensington. It’s a little tricky to find if you’re not from the area since it sits on a small service road that you might miss. The brisket chili was great and the cornbread was probably the best that I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely stop in again if I’m near Pittsburgh.

This place is a little hidden gem of BBQ goodness. I got the pulled pork, potato salad, and cornbread. Literally amazing. The potato salad was a great cool contrast to the heavy sandwich and rich cornbread. Legitimately, the corn bread was like half a pound and you could feel all the butter it in. It was super moist, filled with real corn, and a great addition to the meal. The spicy sauce was good, not extremely spicy but made the pulled pork not dry. It was messy, saucy, and served by smiling faces. I was literally stuffed walking out, so you can be sure that you’re getting your money’s worth. Great food, service, and should be better known. It’s a little hard to find, but don’t miss out!

Arrived there all excited to have a barbecue meal only to find out there is no inside dining at this location. The other location is over an hour away from where I was at and from the look of it I wouldn’t like it because of it’s too well polished. So if you’re expecting to sit down and have a meal on a cool day, don’t go there cause it won’t happen

Food just wasn’t good. Very little seasoning, the baked beans have all kinds of different beans in them and just also don’t taste good, BBQ sauce just wasn’t good either. Very cool outside setup, the staff didn’t answer the phone 3 or 4 times but they were cool and nice! the food just isn’t it.

Management at the Banksville Location seems to be In a downward spiral. Last order we picked up was very dry across all of the meat selections. We had every type. we decided to give them another try And we called and asked for their hours which they stated closing at 7 PM. We arrived 15 minutes before closing and they said that they were closing early and that if we stop next time, we should be punctual, which I guess they think that means early.
We went to Dee jays In Bridgville, PA and we got the same selections. Food was better. Service was better. Price was better.

Fantastic brisket and the boys loved the Mac and cheese! We could smell it all night at the hotel and we had to try it before we went home. A definite must try! The house bbq sauce is on point and we will be bringing some north of the border.

The spicy sauce is one of the Best Bbq sauces I’ve ever had ! The St Louis style ribs were beyond Tender. And the Brisket was phanomenal ! I did add spicy sauce to everything lol. Mac n chesse and the beans ! So amazing ! We might not be BIG on BBQ in Illinois. But we know good food and this place gets FIVE from me !

Ribs are definitely on the dry side. I think the issue is they cook the ribs and then leave in warming box too long which ends up drying out the meat.
Baked beans tasted fine, a little sour – probably from excess vinegar or ketchup
Potato Salad was underseasoned for my tastes.
