First time here and was greeted by the owner I believe. She was so pleasant and the cutest thing ever! I told her I’d be ordering a lot because I heard good things about them. My entire order was vegan and I got the “beef” patty the “chicken” patty and the callaloo patty along with their vegan oxtails with rice and peas, callaloo and side salad. First things first the patties were so flat with not too much filling but what I did taste was good. The dough was flaky and the texture was perfect again just needs more filling for my preference. The dinner was beautifully plated for sure but the rice and oxtails lacked flavor unfortunately. HOWEVER, that callaloo was AMAZING and the owner was nice enough to give me some to go which was awesome of her. I also got a fresh juice which was good as well. I came hungry and left full so for that I’m satisfied. Thank you for the awesome customer service Pigeon Peas ❤️

The way I felt nourished and loved after this meal should be studied. First off this restaurant was so clean, they had light reggae music playing so the vibe was nice from the moment my feet entered the restaurant. Tried out the jerk plantain pattie, ***chefs kisses! Then had then Jallof Rice w/ Oxtails and spinach. They added a citrus lil salad , just as delicious as the meal; generous portion. There is a seating area if you wish to sit and have your meal.

After looking through UberEats for a Vegan meal, I notice Vegan Ox Tail as an option for Pigeon Peas. I call in immediately to receive confirmation the menu option is correct and real. The meal travels VERY well. I eat the meal between two days. The Ox Tail really tastes like Ox Tail (even feeling so texturally). My mom even confirms the Ox Tail is good. She’s questioning Vegan food ingredients more so now because of how authentic Vegan options taste as an alternative (though unique) representation-replacement of products which come from animals. Every portion of the meal tastes wonderful. Obviously, I buy the meal primarily for the Ox Tail though all parts of the meal taste dinstinctly alone as well as in combination (with every bite) very flavorful. The side salad tastes wonderful especially with the Mango Habanero.

10/10 recommend ! I ordered the curry chicken and roti on the side and it was delicious. Food is full of flavor. The staff is nice and they had great music. The other guests I was with ordered jerk chicken and chicken roti. Didn’t expect vegan food to have so much flavor. We also had their juices. I live right up the street and never knew about this place, will definitely become a regular.

The shrimp curry bowl was amazing!! Served hot, super flavorful, with generous portions. I loved it all. Give some time when ordering. Mine took about 20 minutes mid afternoon, but definitely worth it!

I was so excited when i saw the coming soon sign go up earlier this summer. My husband and I ordered the ox tails and the purple popeye juice. We were not disappointed. Every thing was fresh and tasted great. We will be back soon!

Stopped by for takeout, everything was delicious!! We had jerk chicken with amazing citrus salad, salmon patty and side of mac & cheese. The food was very flavorful. In addition, the service was excellent. Will definitely return to try other items.

I’m going to have to agree with the remaining reviewers the paddies need SEASONING!! LOTS OF IT. This is a great idea and restaurant concept that I want to succeed, but if you want melanated people to come and enjoy the food and come often you have got to increase the seasoning on the lentil Patty the vegan beef patty. Also the sorrel needed more ginger. I think if you guys perfect your recipes especially the seasoning then your business will be a great success. But please listen to the people in the reviews You need more seasoning.
