We were visiting from a great restaurant city. This place measured up. Food was good. Atmosphere relaxed. Loved all the local art for sale. Supporting local is important to us. Thanks for the tasty & welcoming brunch.

Perfect stop for a delicious breakfast after doing a sunrise incline hike. I had the breakfast platter with the home style potatoes and a pancake. It might’ve been the hike talking, but it was the best breakfast platter I’ve had for a while. Perfect portion size. It is self seating and you go up to order at the front. The food is brought out to you. It was completely empty when we went at 10 am. Cute interior with a bunch of artwork for sale.

Cool historic building. Had green chili and a beer on the porch overlooking the towns main street. Cool small town also in a beautiful mountain setting at the base of Pikes Peak.

Lovely art filled environment. The owners sell their own art directly off the walls. Friendly service. Free refills. Recommend the homemade potato chips and cheese dip. The Mac and cheese grilled cheese was top notch. I also had the candied jalapeno lemonade and it had a little kick but over a good drink.

All I have to say is WHAT A FIND! Such a super cool place – great staff – incredible service and fun menu! We opted for the half cheesesteak sandwich and Maryland crab soup (pictured), the highly recommended wine smoothie (yes this exists!) and mimosa flights with flavors that are creative and delish! Between the chef, our server and the locals that popped in and out (we sat outside to enjoy the awesome view) we cannot wait to visit again! I live in Tampa but this will be my go to when I visit my peeps in Colorado Springs.

When first passing by, it is difficult to tell this is a Cafe but the chalk on the ground led us to an absolute delicious experience. The pickle soup, pumpkin soup, breakfast burrito, pancakes, and Manitou Cobbler are phenomenal. What a great experience with very amazing staff.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming!! We enjoyed our food and the atmosphere! They had patio and indoor dining available! Food was DELICIOUS (the goblin hot sandwich was so savory with a hint of sweet (candied jalapeños) bacon, meat, cheese on sourdough!!! Staff were super friendly and welcoming. kid friendly and welcoming- especially with the chalk wall and high chairs. Offered breakfast, salads, sandwiches yummy fruit (mango) smoothies, and elevated ice cream novelties! They had fried taco ice cream – snicker shakes!

Phenomenal food, even better people. They were kind enough to feed us after their closing time and you can see, hear, and feel the passion and love they have about their food and community. The owner is a professional chef and their food is made from scratch with a lot of local ingredients. Real meats cooked in house, made from scratch breads, and the jalapeño cranberry sauce is the best condiment I’ve ever had.

We almost passed up this adorable cafe. The owner/chef himself served and chatted with us on a Sunday morning. When someone takes pride in their business it shows. And there is a lot of rightful pride! All the dishes are made from scratch, we had the biscuits and gravy, pancakes and the breakfast burrito. Mocha and a great pumpkin latte. Our only regret is we found this cafe on the last day of our trip. And he wanted to have a toast of mimosas with us on the house. Really makes the trip worth while when you walk into a restaurant and walking out with full stomachs and full souls. I think we made a friend and cannot wait to come back.

The juice was sososo good. However, their service and food wasn’t high quality. Not worth the money that you pay beforehand. I went with a friend, and ordered one buttermilk pancake. My friend ordered a Caesar salad. Her food came within five minutes. The fork she was given was dirty and had old food caked on it. Several of the croutons were moldy. I waited thirty minutes and was finally brought my pancake. I cut into it and it was completely raw on the inside. Literal batter. I brought it back to them and they said they’d remake it. After twenty minutes of waiting for the replacement, we had to get back to our hotel and couldn’t wait for the replacement pancake, so we had to leave. Just get the juice.
